So my Switch has had no issues playing online until a couple of days ago. Could have been longer and I think it started after the last console update. Anyone else experience this?
I've tried all the troubleshooting methods and nothing.

I have. Was able to get into a couple of matches of smash but when I tried Mario Kart the issue resumed.

Have you tried creating a patch out of cardboard and bingwahooing it into the machine?
If that does not work you should consider buying a new one.

I'll get right on that. In the meantime I'd like simpler fixes. Thank you kind user for your wonderful and helpful advice.

Bump

You need to buy the connection dongle, the connection dongle grip, the connection dongle subscription, dongle, amiibo, dongle dlc, and dongle labo. Make sure they're all official Nintendo brand or it could brick your console.

Done and done.
Okay I know at least one of you fucks have had this issue and resolved it. Pls send help

did you ever hack it or something?

Naw. Just tried to get into a game of smash and this error just started popping up. Never had an issue like this before.

Maybe they banned your current IP.
Are you using a dynamic IP?

You need NAT type A, Google it, you'll find a tutorial, pretty easy.

I've tried that. Tried the dmz shit and all that.
Dynamic

So mame it change.
Sometimes you can change manually and sometimes it's automatic.
Find out how you can get other IP assigned to you and do that.

So I'm going to have to contact my isp then? Fuck this is going to take all day.
Well appreciate the tip.

That depends, user.
You can do on your router. If not, disconnect your router for about an hour and try it again.

Your router is being gay so now you need to fuck with the settings for it
Check the error code

Just turn it off and on keeping the switch on without restarting it its bad for the connections

Thanks guys. Hoping I can get this sorted out quickly.

You can just assign a static IP only for the switch to make it work.

Use a wired connection.

Follow this link and find out your MTU

Then change it on the console to whatever number worked best, its under the network options

If your IP is dynamic the NAT will reset because the port will be forwarded for another IP

It is

I've done so but had no luck
