I hope WayForward plans on giving the next game a genuine story. Half-Genie Hero was fun but it was all over the place.
Also as much as I like the 2D on 3D, I hope they change up the style a bit. I just want Shantae to go back to her Pirate's Curse art style. Do you know how satisfying it would be to see full sized Shantae playable in game as opposed to the chibi version/pixelated version?

Hopefully the next game has a better plot yeah. Half Genie Hero was really trying to hammer the "old world" idea so perhaps they're building up to something about how Shantae is like set in some post apocalyptic setting or something

nah, it just has 'castlevania' in the title but it's more of a dmc game. I mean, it isn't a bad game per se, but it has nothing to do with castlevania except for the monsters and lore
I'm not sure WF has the power to do that. I imagine some wouldn't like the style change either, peopel were already bothered about the changes in HGH.
