Only if I'm learning it. Besides, easy mode doesn't give you the true ending.

Yes. I thought Devil Hunter meant hard in DMC4 so I played through Human.

I had to play the first DMC on easy the first time through. I’m not the greatest at vidya. I’ve still never beat DMD in any of the games, but I’ve decided 5 is the one. Wish me luck.

Yes. So i can beat the game quickly and shitpost about it

It depends on how the game was designed and what the difficulty affects.
I will play Fallout 3 on easy, for example, but I will play Fallout New Vegas on very hard.

>game requires you to play all difficulties in order to unlock everything

Yes, I play all Call of Duty games in easiest setting because I play them for the story.

Surprisingly many. Lots of kusoge rely on higher difficulties simply multiplying enemy health, dividing your damage, introducing more annoying enemies earlier and so forth.

Tales of Berseria on the other hand was enjoyable to play on the highest difficulty because of all the new equipment and mechanics you unlock to tackle the increased challenge was very satisfying.

For completion when the game won't mark it as cleared despite doing it on a higher difficulty.

Probably when I was a kid but I haven’t in a while now.
games with no difficulty settings are the best anyways

i allmost play all of my games on easy

I played dragons dogma on easy because it's still challenging on that difficulty. I don't want to get slam jammed by 3 goblin smacks, I want my character to not be made of tissue paper.

You're not the only one to make that mistake, that shit wasn't clear.

Awful, it should only require the hardest difficulty.

Were you playing on hard? Normal in that game is fine, but hard was added in as an update but intended to be for NG+ characters. Dunno why they just called it ‘hard’ and had it selectable at the start and it was not at all balanced for NG characters.

good luck

Only if the game is short and I am new to the franchise or genre. Afterwards, I replay on harder difficulties.

Yes, I'm a woman irl

I'm playing games on easy right now

Last I checked in the game options it was set to "easy". Even normal was too brutal, I didn't attempt hard.

Re1. I thought I picked the normal difficulty and was amazed at how much ammo and health I had

>dragons dogma on easy because it's still challenging on that difficulty.
Dragon's Dogma has never been hard on any difficulty. It just takes a billion years to kill enemies on easy, and even longer on harder "difficulties."

The last time I did is because I failed to play on Normal on the first try. Too bad for me, it was one of the few games that cucks you significantly for playing on Easy. I saw this pretty face, couldn't get to the final stage, and got a shit ending.

yes of course
some games just have bullshit difficulties

Not for a long time. I only ever play on the hardest difficulty option. I feel like you get the most out of a game like that, and it's often how it's intended to be played. The only game in recent memory where I played on Normal was XCOM 2, just because it was already hard enough

easy is too hard

I dunno, is your mom a game?

No, I always pick "normal"
Except for minecraft. When I just wanna mine or build shit, I sometimes turn off the monster spawning

>first time playing MGS2
>normal difficult
>MG Rays boss fight
>they keep coming and coming no matter how many I blow up
>look up on the internet
>it was supposed to be just 6
>start a new save on easy

Uncharted is unironically funner on easy.
