So the "impact" is irrelevant.

Why should pirates have a better experience than me by any amount? Why should I pay more on my electric bill than pirates by any amount because of denuvo? Why should I not be able to play a single player game during my ISP's maintenance when pirates can? Why should the game take up more space on my hard drive than it does on pirates'?
Remember, Pirates cheated the system, and I played fair. Why do they get a better experience? "It's not that big a difference" isn't an argument for paying customers getting screwed and pirates being rewarded. Any amount is too much.

Is 0.8 of a frame really going to hurt you that much?

within margin of error. nothing to discuss

3% performance loss on one of the best systems available is fucking MASSIVE you brainlet

no one who owns a 2080ti plays at 1080p retard

So you've chosen to ignore my whole post. Good argument skills.

You do know people can remove denuvo from dmc themselves and see it's actually much more of a difference?
This doctored test on the strongest PC on the market reeks of damage control.

I want more hardware options in the test

The 3% difference was on the lower end of the scale and amounts to like 6 frames at 200fps. The performance loss at the very top is 0.32%

Every reply will just be rewordings of "lol who cares?? shut up nerd" don't you worry

you shouldn't - publishers either need to stick their head out of their ass and go full drm-free or they can fuck off (they might succeed in lobbying draconian fines for end-user copyright infringement in the biggest markets, but good luck with returning the lobbying investment)

2018
>DENUVO DOESN'T EFFECT PERFORMANCE YOU SALTY PIRATE FAGS
2019
>IT BARELY COUNTS WHO CARES THAT YOU'RE PAYING FOR A WORSE EXPERIENCE THAT'S FOR THE CONSUMER'S BENEFIT. YOU GET WORSE PERFORMANCE BUT YOU GET TO LAUGH AT SALTY PIRATE FAGS H-HAHA

Only one high end setup, running the game at 1080p.
Nice test.

there are more problems with denuvo than performance loss, it's caused serious memory leaks in the past that can cripple games

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of the userbase is using 2080ti's out there lol.

>w-we did do a complete test t-trust us goyim w-we only refused to publish the results because it was too consistent with our n-narrative!

>that graph
>performance
>doesn't show the effect it has on loading times
Incompetent. Loading times are part of the way a game performs especially when denuvo can add from 10 to 14 or even more seconds per loading screen. On some games this can add HOURS of loading screens to the experience.

HOURS SPENT ON LOADING SCREENS!!!

Sonic Mania's Denuvo removal patch went public yesterday and after trying it out again, it does load up faster then it use to. Now to wait for the actual good mods.

Reading the conclusion part gets painfully obvious where their opinion (and skewed af bench results with the best hardware/connection possible) is coming from:
>"Copy protection is here to stay, for as long as game developers are eating food"
>"Let's address the elephant in the room first. We did not find Denuvo to make any tangible performance difference with Devil May Cry 5."

yeah, no - fuck off. There are thousands of documented end user tests of running the same game with and without denuvo and all people need to do is to search for "denuvo fps comparison" on YT
youtube.com/watch?v=n_DD-txK9_Q

>game not made by retarded nip studios of 25 people who got their fax machine technician to port it or C list offshoots like Bioware Montreal is coded properly and a fucking DRM wrapper doesn't hinder performance aside from load times.
Wow its almost like every other Denuvo game that fits these standards, but lets go back to ignoring all of those.

>Why should pirates have a better experience than me by any amount?
Pirates have the same experience. Cracks do not remove denuvo, they just trick the system. Getting the DMC5 exe without denuvo is a unique situation

denuvo is based because it makes poorfag pirates and gloating riceniggers mad. personally I dont give a flying fuck if I lose 2 fps to denuvo.

So I'm supposed to believe that those brave journalist publically talked how they just broke Capcom's terms of service to bring these important news to us? Yeah no, this article is a corporate handshake.

>lets benchmark a wrapper service that impacts the CPU by maxing out every graphics setting at 1080p
this is why you retards get made fun of.

Works fine on consoles :)

>denuvo is based because it makes poorfag pirates and gloating riceniggers mad
you've got it upside down, retard - it's the buyfags who are assmad about denuvo chugging the resources and killing their legally purchased games, once the servers shut down without drm removal.

Not entirely unique the same thing happened with Doom 2016 and a demo executable

Watch me, fag.

>250fps
yeah, let me ask around and see how many people get that number. Yet I heard several times from legit owners that running the non-denuvo version gave them fps boost.

>XxXpirateHaX420.blogspot posts a screenshot of a game with 40 less FPS using Denuvo
>LOL DENUVO KILLS PERFORMANCE
>Durante, a literal rocket scientiest with a history of hacking games code and making them run on PCs makes an exhaustive report proving Denuvo does nothing but increase load times in 99.9% of cases
>SHILL! PAID OFF! BACKALLEY DEALING!
just stop trying to make false statements and admit you want 100% assurance of 0 day cracks and no one would care

but it does cause quite a lot of asshurt in crackbeggers for the first few weeks which is fucking delicious.

that's not how the test works, you moron - graphics are being maxed out for keeping the load in both tests at max.
The fact that CPU heavy calculations, especially when physics come to play, are noticeably exacerbated by the presence of the high maintenance bitch of a home-calling 1000 times per cycle DRM, is just proving the whole point of this frankly one-sided debate.

There's no excuse for using or supporting Denuvo, just as there was no benefit in doing so for Securom and Starforce.

>few weeks

5 days in this case, generally just depends how lazy the crackers are feeling

>the loss is minimal on a top end PC with a $1000 video card
Now try not being a fucking retard and show the same test on a machine normal people own. The difference between a smooth 60 FPS and 45 FPS with spikes is fucking massive.

you don't max load the GPU when you're stress testing CPU performance impact you knuckledragging ibuypower using piece of shit

Is 4.5ghz generally safe for most chips? I've never overclocked anything before and have been fine with the stock clock speed thus far... just curious for the future

not really - almost always it's the desperate bait-posters who want to convince the board of piratefags, who have plenty of shit to play with until something new is cracked, are mad about waiting.
I mean, even buyfags have enough of backlogs from all the sales to sit it out until the game goes discounted, so majority of piratefags have even less of problems with waiting.

Perfomance test should be on minimum requirements and on recommended ones on steam page.

you don't reduce the workload for GPU when you're testing out CPU either.
It's not like there's a specific CPU related option just to increase the CPU load.

Again, the point of the comparison is to compare the same builds of the same game with same settings with and without the impact of DRM.
Go read something - you have learning comprehension issues.

>you don't reduce the workload for GPU when you're testing out CPU either.
Oh my fucking god why would you ever post something so unbelievably stupid and then think you have any ability to have a conversation about computer hardware?

Attached: 1479852468865.jpg (331x331, 50K)

this. you just increase margin of error by increasing gpu load with visual fidelity. ideal cpu bench is done at lowest possible resolution at lowest graphics settings.

Considering more and more games are available within a week and they pay no money, I think pirates are feeling pretty good at this point

Games havent been CPU bound for years. If you bought a CPU within the past 3 years that cost more than $150 you're fine to play anything you want at stock

Depends on your temps and required V.core

here I'll lay it out in a graph

point -->
|
| Distance between the point and (You)r head
|
(You)

Now could you please go away - your shitposting is not helping this discussion.

Consoles have like a 50% performance decrease compared to pcs lmao

during that week pirates could do few extra hours at work and theyd have enough to buy the game for "free". makes you think huh.

Let me make a graph for you
Go fuck yourself and never talk about computer hardware again until you know more about it than "mommy bought me the most expensive alienware so I can max out fortnite"

They work a few extra hours and save the money for something else.
Even better

Or they could just play another free game in the meantime.

The far cry series and any dunia or cryengine games are massively cpu bound

but it's the practical field result on max settings is what important for FPS-fags - they would never want to play any game on lowest settings and neither do they care if the dip is CPU- or GPU-bound.

it's amazing how little your lazy ad hominem attempts have an impact on anything.

>but it's the practical field result on max settings is what important for FPS-fags - they would never want to play any game on lowest settings and neither do they care if the dip is CPU- or GPU-bound.
Please keep posting you're so retarded its hilarious.

You didn't make a graph for him, though.

>Please keep posting
ok, how was your day?
Pretty bad, assuming that you have to waste so much energy on arguing with retards on internet. Let's see how long will you last.

huh?

Attached: CPU_01.png (1299x1585, 63K)

my day just started. its going pretty well, i got to make fun of retarded third world trash who thought the day wasn't just beginning and i made fun of him for not knowing anything about computer hardware as i ate breakfast.

i see, so it's a pretty pathetic living you got there. Hope you get better someday.

hope you get to live in the first world and you won't have to pretend to know about computer hardware because your FX gets crippled by denuvo

Will paypiggies ever learn?

I'm fine with Denuvo. Entitled shitheads who hate video games and won't support good games in order to get more good games deserve to be left in the cold.

yup, still a pathetic human being

The difference between 216 FPS and 225 FPS is 0.185 milliseconds. That is how long it takes for sound to travel 2 1/2 inches. Either you're outraged over 0.185 milliseconds or you're a piratefag doing damage control.

Nothing to discuss, shill - Denuvo is shit

>Ignores all my points but the one he can make seem most trivial
Try again.

>we set the game to 480p output on the lowest settings
>At this point the CPU becomes the limiting factor in performance and we can start to see a difference
