Do you think they realize why it's failed?
Do you think they realize why it's failed?
>Failed
It succeeded as they intended. They spent $2 developing it and the rest of the budget on advertising and then the sold a huge amount of copies for a substantial profit
at a huge reputation loss, was making peanuts change worth it?
>First game that cums to my mind when thinking of complete fucking failure
>Remember people are still playing it
Yes. People will still buy their next game
Gamer haunted lady little fox. If you aren't honest opinion of this game just played yourself.
I'm tired of little I'm so fucking shit about cinemasterpieces next time you want to make a gerbera sweet like this ask for my permission first.
beth never had a good rep with fallout let's be real
Let's be real by being deluded Obsidian fanboys? I'm sorry but Fallout 3 & 4 were very successful and well received games whether you like it or not.
so, no hope for the future? they won't even hire a decent writer, ever?
people are dumb. they forget about it.
Everyone also knew that they're broken pieces of shit, just like 76. Didn't stop any of them from being successful, though. Bethesda can shit out anything and people will buy it because, weird enough, nobody else is competing with them.
If by "decent writer" you mean someone who only writes characters that do nothing but political exposition dumps then I hope not.
that's whole of fallout 4 though, did you pay attention in that game?
>It succeeded as they intended. They spent $2 developing it
False. It's by far their biggest projects ever:
>The team actually started thinking about multiplayer during development of Fallout 4, but ultimately decided it wasn’t the right fit for the parent-and-lost-child story they were trying to tell. However, while Fallout 4 was being built at Bethesda’s studio in Rockville, Maryland, VP of development Todd Howard tasked the Austin studio with exploring an online Fallout. “They wanted to try,” explains Hines. “They wanted to see what would a game of ours look like if it was an online thing.”
>Eventually, what would become Fallout 76 turned into a massive collaborative effort across the company. Austin was soon joined by Rockville once work on Fallout 4 wrapped up, and eventually the team pulled in talent from Bethesda’s studios in Montreal and Dallas, as well. This allowed Bethesda to tap into expertise from various teams. Austin’s experience creating online games was combined with Rockville’s in-depth knowledge of building a massive Fallout game. (Hines says that “everybody at the studio in Rockville who worked on Fallout 4 has worked on 76 in some shape or form.”)
>did you pay attention in that game
Nope. I skip all the boring dialogue in Fallout games. I just like the parts where you shoot things.
>Fallout 3 & 4 were very successful
yeah todd howard is worth his weight in gold i'm not disputing that
smartest thing beth ever did was hire that dude to sell their games
>Believing what Bethesda says
Nein
>I just like the parts where you shoot things
At least he's honest about what he wants from a videogame
>>Believing what Bethesda says
Why would they lie about business-related details like this? Doing so would be corporate fraud.
This is bait right? Its all marketing bs
>this is the biggest game we've ever made, its a must buy!
sending 3 emails would qualify as cooperation in court, it's nowhere near fraud.
Bethesda lies about everything. It's weird how publishing side of them is so much better.
It's actually good though. I mean, I'd be pissed if I payed full price for it, but for the 12 dollar I payed for it it's pretty fun.
