You guys think I could get my 60 year old dad to play RDR2? He loves hunting, history, guns, and the old west. I'd like to see what he thinks of the game, it should be slow paced enough for him to handle if I got him into a nice free roam point where he can do what he wants without worrying about forced action segments.

He genuinely was but Micah led him astray, causing the gang's downfall.

Attached: 1544308218188.jpg (768x1024, 169K)

He wasn't. Micah unironically was.
If they went to Blackwater earlier, they wouldn't have all the others on their tail.
Just Colm and the Pinkertons.
Instead they had:
- Colm
- Pinkertons
- Bronte
- Grays
- Braithwaite
- Favours
- Fussar
- Cornwall
Great plan Dutch. They should all have listened to Micah. In a way, he ratted when he knew they were fucked.
But when you put it into perspective he's way less of a retard and piece of shit than Dutch.

Micah was probably ratting on the gang earlier, maybe from the very start. Micah pushed the Blackwater ferry job on Dutch and it was an ambush with tons of Pinkertons and shit hmmm.....

I am pretty sure the ferry is just coincidence. Not everyone is a traitor from start. If he actually was, bad writing from Rockstar.
Ferry was very high risk but very high reward.
It had more chances to fuck up, but like Dutch even said, the reward was well worth it.
A gamble they lost. But it would have been better to just plan for collecting instead of piling up problems and ennemies.

>''That many men? Oh they knew we were coming''
Then you gotta factor in other curious ''coincidences'' like the law showing up really fast in Scarlett Meadows during the train robbery and Micah insisting Arthur to go on the sniper perch when they are going to meet the O'Driscolls for parlay and Arthur gets captured.

Real big brained answer is Milton was lying to Arthur when he told him Micah ratted

Molly wast QT, she deserved better than dutch

I INSIST

Why didn't Arthur just run away with her
she clearly wanted the D badly from as early as CH1 or 2

Because he felt responsibility over the gang and his best friends Dutch and Hosea. As far as women go, he was still hung up over Mary Linton. The age difference was also probably too much for honorcuck like Arthur, him being around 35 while Mary Beth was 20-21?

Attached: 1550157360115.jpg (1920x1080, 362K)

He was such a deluded fool. A shame he had to drag down everyone else around down with him or allow them to follow him to oblivion.

>age difference
nigguh 40 year olds married 15 year olds back then. However, I grant he still had Oneitis with Mary Linton.

Is too big shame, Mary Beth would've been a good fit.

I'd love to get my mum into it as well but any controller that has more than 6 buttons trips her up.

Well shit I dunno about the age difference, just guesstimating. But I think his oneinitis for Mary Linton was the bigger reason.

Attached: 1548277564767.jpg (1920x1080, 425K)

The controls are probably going to be the biggest issue, unfortunately, RDR2 just has a fucking complicated scheme

oh hey is that you hooker-killer user?

Yeah, while it's become second nature to me I can only imagine how frustrating it would be to play when you don't even know what L2/R2 are without looking at them.

I think the first DLC will actually be that playing as Mac Callander. Two chapters at New Austin and Blackwater.

Mac Callander would be great since we don't have a canon look for him and we know he was a great gunslinger.

It's little ol' me indeed.

I came back after not playing a few months and I almost restarted the whole game because I was fumbling with how to do anything for a good hour or two

I HAVE a plan, you just HAVE to trust me!

I honestly hope Rockstar is working on single player DLC and purpously made online shit because of TakeTwo's jewish corporate greed. You can't really do it for this kind of game having absurdly priced shit because there is no expensive cars or helicopters or million dollar apartment suites like Gta.

Didn't play the game. Can someone explain that meme to me?

JUST HAVE SOME GODDAMN FAITH, Yea Forums

Attached: 1542751292838.jpg (782x768, 84K)

The gang's leader is always super confident about his plans but they often fall apart towards the end of the game the mildly comedic tone of Dutch sperging about his plans becomes sad when it's becoming more and more obvious that his ''plans'' are more and more ludicrous and dangerous and he actually doesn't have a clear roadmap.

Attached: 1548277688990.jpg (1920x1080, 326K)

YER GONE DUTCH.

This also ties back to RDR1 ending and Dutch's character in a way. In RDR1 [which takes place 12 years AFTER RDR2] various characters mention Dutch and his plans, especially John's final encounter with Dutch where Dutch says he's got a plan to which John impatiently and sarcastically replies ''You always have a plan!'' after which Dutch says ''this is a good one'' , throws away his gun and kills himself.

Dutch has been depicted in RDR2 as a man with a vision to whom the gang great confidence to but the gang's streak of unlucky events are causing people to have increasing skepticism towards Dutch so Dutch keeps giving big speeches and telling people to have faith because he's cooking a plan that will save them.

Why was RDR 2 so bad?
Most disappointing sequel I've played in years

i wish i knew how to make webms to post here from this game, have lots of cool ones

i miss charles

webm for bakas
formerly retards

But Charles didn't even die and got a happy ending.

wut if micah didnt do anythign wrong and it was all just a conspiracy and lies. id like to think he was innocent in that sense since he said darkies in the first chapter

He also got rejected by every single girl in the gang, does that appeal to you too?

I’m glad some of the gang did get a happy ending, that was enough to make everything that arthur went through worth it.

They’re probably gonna use that for rdr 3 you play as some dude who dies on that mission

>btfos darkies and homos
>throws shade at everyone in the camp
>oppressed by the friend zone
>unhealthy fixation on inanimate objects
Micah truly was /ourguy/

I'd love that but it's too close to RDR2 in the timeline I think. Maybe DLC for RDR2? I could see RDR3 happening in the early / mid 1890s or the gang's peak in 1889 or something maybe?

I miss arthur bros.

Or maybe during the year John runs off

I miss him too, but at least you can always start a new playthrough.

I have only played up to the early parts of chapter 2, and just been playing the Online

that's probably the best way to play, let the story last a while
