Even her father was a more important character than she was in her own game. But for some reason she got precedence over all those characters as well as other easy clones not yet in the game.

I think Young Link should go before Toon Link. Sure he came first but Young Link was in exactly one game, at least Toon Link was at least his own character and in multiple games that can be viewed as enough of a side departure to the mainline series. Young Link is literally just regular Link but young.

Not really. Yeah she saves Chrom a few times and warns Basilio about his death but does pretty much nothing apart from that. She fails to save Emmeryn, gets her cover blown twice, and then becomes another person in your army doing pretty much nothing at all.

Meanwhile Chrom is killing an invader and mad king, thwarting an invasion and invading back, wins said invasion, then takes down a dark dragon god possessing the body of his best friend from an alternate timeline.

Outside of one or two lives saved, Lucina has as much story significance as Severa.

Her moves are a copy paste of Samus' despite her never actually using half of those powers in the Prime games, and the only differences she has with Samus mechanically are flavour.

Lucina is one of the best echoes because she

- Creates a meaningful mechanical difference in gameplay with her original character by essentially trade Marth tipper risk/reward for consistency.
- Offers representation of an actual character with a personality that people personally care about
- Is actually well represented mechanically and thematically by being an echo.
