The English version has a ton of plot holes but it was meant for children so most of us didn't notice or even care. There really isn’t that much of a dramatic shift. The villain change isn’t even that much of an asspull in my opinion, in fact the original villain’s still there and if I recall correctly there was one episode where he comes back.

There doesn’t really NEED to be an explanation. Forever Red didn’t need a legitimate explanation. Adam Park didn’t need a legitimate explanation to show up during Overdrive. They barely even have a legit reason as to why Tommy was suddenly in Insert Setting Location Here for Dino Thunder.

Troy has terrible acting. Lines felt stilted at time for some of the actors except maybe Gia. Actually, how is robo knight there? When he clearly died? Are they all ghosts? With RPM, Samurai might have portrayed Scott poorly, but Megaforce outright says they went from post apocalyptic world to futuristic? How?

Turbo continued the story from Zeo, gave a round of send offs for long time cast members lile Zordon and Tommy, and gave the replacements plenty of time and development to grow on viewers, plus had plenty of funny or memorable moments all leading into the GOAT season Space.

Meanwhile Samurai pretended an ancient Samurai battleground existed in California while Megaforce spammed Pre-Zyu team stock footage while somehow forgetting to to use a Lightspeed Rescue morph outside the extended cut of the final episode.

I wonder how people reacted to the Megaforce finale considering a number of Sentai teams that were never localized were included in it.

Without a better explanation why they exist besides, never before scene, poorly. It would have been perfect to explain it better but it felt shoved in. Especially when they did out right edit sentai suits for actual PR suits in a couple of scenes in the season but then also kept them. It was rather inconsistent editing. Hell, sometimes they changed the already established names they gave some of them.

The easy answer is nWay themselves pitched the idea and Hasbro/Saban just signed off on it. They had public Legacy Wars events where they invited Justin Wong to play and most likely spoke to him about joining the project at the time and he brought along other MvC pros.
This all happened last summer, right as Hasbro was in the middle of acquiring PR and Saban Brands was shutting down and getting absorbed into Hasbro. There's no reason to assume either Saban or Hasbro bankrolled the game when they were in the midst of changes.

Yes user, it's not 2004 anymore. No one considers Turbo or Lightspeed or Wild Force the worst when Disney and especially Neo-Saban lowered the bar so low.

A d&d type show was the best Neo Saban season out of all of them. That's how sad it is. Also RPM was fantastic, so I'll give Disney some credit, for almost murdering their own product.

It was still pretty boring. It's just power rangers, but with cars this time. Nothing really stood out, and the villains were very boring.

RPM, Dino Thunder, SPD, and Ninja Storm were all great. People like to hate on the disney seasons too much imo
