If you have no programming knowledge and you had to rely on the drag and drop functionality alone. Which program would you recommend is easier and more intuitive? Unreal or Unity?

RPGMaker

unreal because ive seen better quality games made with it over unity

Unity

But dont try to make a game if you dont know how to program

There is no drag and drop functionality for either of those programs.

I don't think quality is going to be an issue when I wish to create a game using low poly models.

Serious question, what is the goal of this shitpost, it doesn't even get anybody riled up.

the key is to use low poly with high res textures desu

>what is the asset store

>unreal engine
>unreal tournament has been in pre-alpha hell for 5 years

The unreal engine is clearly garbage.

>3d game with no programming experience

Oh no you're fucked, if it was 2d it's 100% doable but 3d? Lol you're fucked

Unreal probably. Visual scripting is pretty nice over there.
But learning a bit of C# for Unity shouldn't be much harder either.
If you're not sure, get both of them, make some simple tutorial projects and stick with the one that you like more.

>If you have no programming knowledge and you had to rely on the drag and drop functionality alone.
I wouldn't even bother.

Because Unity is easier to use, shit devs opt for Unity. It's the effect, not the cause.

The one that supports the "holy shit just learn any language that starts with a C it's really not that hard if you put some effort in" feature

okay okay I'll try.
this tutorial looks like a good place to start

neither of those, because they suck your profits dry. godot is all I'd ever use

100% of $0 is still $0 user.

Roblox Studio

seems like it has very little support and would be difficult for beginners to use.

I'm on the same boat
>tfw I like Unity a lot and its easy to use
>but keep hearing that there's going to be a lot of problems later on with the performance as well as bugs
>uninstall it recently and trying to adapt to Unreal4

>game engine used dictates profits
what did he mean by this

This. You will never be able to make anything with drag and drop, OP.

>what are blueprints

go with unreal, you can do a full game without any code (there are obvious limitations and it might not be as optimized but I also doubt you will try to make the next GTA)

Because Godot is a literal meme that it's own developers don't want to work on anymore.

>have no skills
>want to do something that requires skills
Stay in school, little user.

>engines
>not being able to program
Never gonna make it.

>that it's own developers don't want to work on anymore.
source? sad if true

>Because Unity is easier to use, shit devs opt for Unity. It's the effect, not the cause.
I wouldn't say that it's easier. It's mostly because unity was around much longer that UE (at least it was free for everyone to try unlike UE) and it has much bigger community.
>but keep hearing that there's going to be a lot of problems later on with the performance as well as bugs
Performance and bugs are 99% your responsibility, user. Try both and use whatever you like. Unity might give you a slighter better chance at employment, but knowing both would never hurt.

use lumberyard

Is it actually good or a meme you're parroting.

>Nintendo uses unity
>Square Enix uses Unity
>Ex-Rarewaredevs use Unity
>John Romero (one of the main original DOOM Devs) uses Unity
>Blizzard uses Unity

Then there are great games like:
>Cities Skylines
>Ori and the blind forest
>Cuphead
>Hearthstone

where are all the good devs choosing unreal and where is the big list of good games with unreal?

It should be cry engine under a different name.
But then again the only recent title I remember using cry engine is sonic boom and that doesn't leave me with a good impression.
