So it regards to the hold system, really the only way to use it is to memorize the high/mid/low properties of all the popular moves/strings? Including your characters of course. In these low ranks right now Strikes are king (Marie = instawin) probably cause no one is using hold properly. And the getup kicks are minus on block right?

I tried out that SNK Heroines game and was surprised at how many voice lines they recorded. They had lines for every pairing and some special illustrations for a few of them. The endings also had more ways to reference SNK characters.
Too bad it looked like shit because of the KOF XIV assets. It also wasn't that fun as a fighting game with no lows and buttons for specials or supers.

The combos are the least of the game's problems, in fact, it's not even a problem, SC2 with longer combos wouldn't be any worse for it at all. The game's flow is barely affected by having a few extra combo hits compared to SC2, the shit movement, the constant free plus frames, and the endless setplay is what made it worse and practically the same game as SC5.
