Just watch the anime for the parts that are animated(1-5). Most people get turned on to Jojo after finished part 2 or 4. If you finish part 4 and still don't enjoy it I would just stop with the series. Part 7 is agreed to be the best part among most people so if you do want to continue after part 4 I would recommenced trying to get to part 7 quickly without skipping parts.
Part 3 is the longest part, mainly due to it originally being the final part. It can drag on at times, but has enough good moments to still make it entertaining.

Does anyone even rank Part 3 as one of the best though? I constantly see it among the middle of most people's lists with 4, 5, and 7 being most people's top parts. I think a bit of of it is contrarianism but people generally seem to agree that while good it is nowhere near the best.

Part 5 is better than part 4.

I think the point was to use him as a foil to the rest of the gang. Like the others, Fugo had been dealt a cruel hand by fate, and he sympathized with Trish and believed that the right thing to do was to save her. But despite his high IQ, he lacks something that the others have, which is the moral courage and resolve to stick to what he believes is right even when he knows that the odds are against him.

Kira carries part 4, hes my favorite character. Its though because I like them both a lot.

King Crimson erases "cause" and leaves "effect". Imagine that you have a knife, and you're going to chop an onion for a stir-fry. The action is predetermined, and there's nothing that's going to change it. Meanwhile, Diavolo hates onions. So, when you go to chop the onion, he activates King Crimson to stop you.

King Crimson differs from The World in that Diavolo CANNOT ALTER WHAT IS PREDETERMINED. He cannot affect you who is about to cut the onion, the knife about to cut it, the cutting board it rests on, the counter it's on top of, nor the onion itself. During those ten seconds, all he can do is pour a bunch of lard into the wok to ruin it before it even starts cooking. Absolutely no one was about to put a brick of lard into that wok, so he can accomplish that much, at least.

Once King Crimson ends, you will find that you've already chopped the onion even though you haven't started yet, and there's a brick of lard in your wok. In other aspects, you might find that you've already turned on the radio without having turned your car engine, you're in the shower after having just turned on the water, or you're covered in cum after just hitting orgasm.

While it's not explained, it's theorized that GER is the exact opposite of King Crimson, minus the "skipping". Whereas King Crimson erases "cause" and leaves "effect", GER erases "effect" and leaves "cause". It's not as complicated as it sounds.

Let's say that you're trying to get revenge on Gio because he banged your girlfriend AND your sister at the same time, knocked them up, and won't take responsibility, so you go to kill him. When you confront him, Gio activates GER, and he resets your emotions.

The "cause" for your emotions is that he banged your girlfriend and sister, and he still did. The "effect", you getting mad, gets reset. You are no longer angry that he gave them the time of their lives, and if you ever try to get angry about it again, GER will reset you to "zero" anger.

I feel the animation will really make people realize how good the part is just like it happened with part 5, all of these but the cast interactions are vastly improved in a serial format and there's room for david to add cast interactions

While that would be cool to see, it wouldn't align with his character. Dio's upbringing with Dario basically warped his mind into thinking power is everything you need to become successful in the world. It's why he was so obsessed with Jonathan, because Jonathan was given everything to him by his successful family which made Dio relentlessly jealous. He stole Jonathan's friends, his father, and even his love interest to try to steal that happiness. He also indulged himself in sex, gold, and material wealth and found no happiness while Jonathan attained pure joy with his love for Erina.
But then again it wouldn't ENTIRELY be impossible. Dio is more of a misunderstood figure who reactively shunned the world who shunned him. He states the only person he ever respected was Jonathan and I think it's because Jonathan was the only person (besides Dio's mother) whom truly loved him. I thought it was interesting to see Dio get so intimate with Pucci in part 6. It's debatable whether he was being genuine or just manipulating Pucci, but I like to think that Dio was trying to emulate emotions in order to know what being loved feels like.
