Well there is that one css map, but i dont think that counts
I used to walk through time square to get to my internship job. And I must say, the Division really really did a good job in getting the new york look.
I shot at my old dorm's window in the Division, it's pretty great
gonna post this as well
anyone know of any games that take place in Pennsylvania ? I know Silent Hill is heavily influenced by one of those coal towns with a mine that's been on fire for like 100 years. I live not too far away from them.
I like in Europe which is were Assassin's Creed 3: Revelations happened
>CERA was both in the division and L4D2
I lived in Goodsprings, Nevada for 10 years. AMA
Grew up like 40 mins outside of Pittsburgh, was surprised to see it in a fallout game.
>datamining on Yea Forums
>Be from the south
>Live in majority black places 2/3 my life
>Coach says "God damn" all the time
only thing wrong with an otherwise 10/10 game
it was CEDA in L4D2
>implying the NSA cant just find every shred of information ever recorded about via IP address
unless you're behind 7,000 VPNs theres no way to hide your data, might as well just not care
Anything set in Idaho.
In L4D2 it's CEDA
only trainyard though
Doesn’t part of the last of us? Fellow pa bro here
My city is not in any game but my province is a country in EU4 and in some CK2 dates
>implying I need you to say or post anything to do that to you
>tfw Canadian
The closest I've seen was that the beginning of SOMA takes place in Toronto - hometown is about an hour away.
Is Medium Pete a local legend there?
This but south jersey.
Oh ya I think part of that is around Pittsburgh too.
Left 4 Dead 1
>pittsburgh
I think fallout 3 has a DLC there too
Oh fug I remember that part, yeah.
PAbros unite.
The Pitt expansion from Fallout 3
The only game I can think of that's set in my city, unless I want to start listing off all the FIFA games too.
I don't think there's any games set where I live. Only games I can think of that take place in my state at all are NCAA sports titles, horse racing games and that one game about mammoth cave or whatever.
As far as tonally I guess Night in the Woods counts. For all its faults I don't think I'll ever see a better representation of what it's like to be a college washout living in a slowly dying town.
I take the red line every day. Downtown crossing would have been more fitting since it already has the smell.
Any games take place in the Hudson Valley, NY or Long Island, NY?
Really I'm from the city but there are so many games there that it'd be boring to post. But I lived in both of the above general locations of suburbs for a few years each
Where my michigan bros at
>tfw no vidya based in Minneapolis
Feelsbadman
Homefront 2
Splinter Cell Blacklist
Assassin's Creed III
Fallout 3: The Pitt
The Last of Us
Left 4 Dead
Stubbs the Zombie
X-Men Origins: Wolverine
>Stubbs the Zombie
holy fug didn't remember this at all, that's hilarious
>Live in Maine resort town.
>Silent Hill is a Maine resort town.
Yeah I can see that.
>no game with a modern version of it
Man my city really is just a shell of its former self, isn’t it?
The entire game.
One of the endings takes place literally two blocks down from where I live
are you north, south or beach pilled?
dale
Same. My city is too irrelevent to be in anything (So imagine my disappointment when the initial Fallout 4 leak the mentioned it by name was fake) so I have to settle with my state being an EU4 province.
>Arizona
I know theres a bunch of games that use it for an old western setting but the only game I can think of that uses Phoenix is Halo 4. Its at the end when the Didact vaporizes the whole city
