Why did they make her boobs bigger? Is this the real reason she was so mad at Lea?

talk about a game that came and went..

Man, I keep forgetting the full game came out. Need to play it soon.

maybe the switch release will help it gain popularity

Shame because it's damn good

They said it was impossible to port due it being written in html5. Maybe it is worth their time to remake the game in a new engine though.

Attached: space.dandy.-.09.-.[1080p.bluray.x264].[10bit].[dhd].mkv_snapshot_17.01_[2019.03.10_22.48.08].jpg (1920x1080, 169K)

game just isn't fun
the levels are a slog to get through it doesn't feel worth it to fight any of the enemies
the puzzles are also the same mechanic just repeated they become super repetitive

It's already been announced for the switch, with a trailer.

Attached: 7e7.png (234x230, 22K)

>the puzzles are also the same mechanic just repeated
every element has a different mechanic though?

Oh cool.

WHY DOES SHE RUN LIKE NARUTO?

How is this game using a controller vs the keyboard? It seems like it would be annoying with a controller due to all the tiny platforming you have to do.

to me the platforming isn't the problem, it's the aiming on a controller

She's Japanese.

I found keyboard + mouse to be better, personally. Shooting is weird on a controller.
But controllers have the advantage of more easily and naturally being able to melee anywhere. I know you can bind a keyboard button to it but it always felt weird pressing it.
Basically there's pros and cons to each setup.

She's dumb and doesn't know better

Attached: sadlea1.jpg (409x522, 175K)

I used a controller the whole time, and it felt good. The platforming never really requires you to be super precise and fast at the same time, so the controller was fine on that front. I also preferred the combat controls for controller over mouse + keyboard because your ranged attacks require you to use the sticks to aim, meaning I was less likely to accidentally shoot a ball when I meant to melee and vice versa.

Is this game finished yet or is it another Hollow Knight situation where I have to wait about a year for all the updates to be done?

There's post-game content that's supposed to come out but the main story is complete

The main game is finished. There's an arena mode coming soon-ish, and then a postgame DLC after that.
The game is already decently long though, I did most of the sidequests and got about 50 hours out of it.

Isn't Lea based on Shizuka's Avatar? Shizuka simply chose to give her avatar big boobs, nothing mysterious there.

So it's just like Hollow Knight. Fuck this dumb new trend.

it's really good, user. you should play it if you get the chance!

I can't believe i got so attached to that dumb as shit horned spheromancer

Yeah fuck these developers providing free content after they finish the main game

I'm waiting until it's out on Switch to buy it. I played the demo on PC and it was really fun.

Hollow Knight was not the first game to release a completed product and then release more add-on content for free later on down the line.

>Why did they make her boobs bigger?
Did they really do this? More games need to make the boobs bigger so this is a good change.

Can you fuck as an avatar? Wouldn't you just constantly be fucking if everyone was a 10/10 and you could feel everything with your robot-helmet?

imagine the feel of a tight pentafist asshole around your cock

She should be mad at her brother for creating those stupid Samurai bugs.

Yes, that and the fact that Lea is all around cute and fun to be around unlike Shizuka.

But user, it's Lea that has bigger breasts, and while she was based on Shizuka, she wasn't designed by her.

I'd imagine you can, avatars can emote and cry with tears, and there's mentions that avatars can go naked, so I'm going to guess they're fully functional.
There's probably an ERP setting you have to turn on or off first though.

Maybe. There's a player that makes a comment about taking off her clothes and jumping in a fountain to get her boyfriends attention and there's a bit with players talk about adjusting a body sensitivity function on your avatar.

>a rogue Instatainment employee runs around raping avatars because they're made of instant matter and can't fight back
lewd

I dont remember much about the lore other than the avatars are like 5kg and that normal people cant access the crossworld (if its a sectioned off part of the planet or something i dont remmeber).
That being said, I dont think avatars have genitalia so fucking them is not really an option but I will never find out until I get to fuck Emillie and test it myself.

A normal human probably wouldn't feel anything, instant matter is supposed to be light and basically magic nanotech styrofoam

you can't even unequip your avatar's pants, so no.

It has to feel like SOMETHING though, instant matter can form tons of dynamic shapes and doesn't seem to have real limits to it

I was kind of confused about Crossworlds in general. Like what was and what wasn't an NPC in the game? And was the big city a city that real people actually lived in or built specifically for players of the MMO?

That's mentioned to be a setting in the game. Some guy in a shop tries to steal some armor and it disappears off of him but has the nudity setting on.

Official art

Attached: cockcode.jpg (2480x1741, 1.57M)

Basically everyone is either a player or an NPC, you only encounter a few people who are actually on the planet, like the ship's crew. All of the cities and stuff were built for the game because it's set far enough into the future that you can just like buy planets or something.

>boobs got bigger
Well looks like I'm buying whatever this is

Emillie a best.

nothing on that island was real except for the ground you walked on. I was shocked to find out that the shad weren't real.

B A L L S

I thought there were shad, just at some point they moved off planet.
Like the general events referenced were real, in that
>humanity settles planet, finds ruins and begins extracting them
>track responds and fights back, human beings make treaty with shad to integrate MMO tech to understand tech better

I got some way lesbo vibes from them
I better be able to fist that pentafistpuss post-game

Yes, fuck them. Should have stayed in early access until they were done.
It's the first game I've ever had to delay playing because it was unfinished at launch.

>it's set far enough into the future that you can just like buy planets or something.
guess it's actually kind of realistic in some ways (I mean, given that level of futuretech) that random planets wouldn't be that big a deal to buy really, like for a big corp anyway. current astronomy indicates there are actually a shitload of them, and most are probably pretty worthless since it'd be a such a pain to terraform them.

Not him but then how does the world work?
On one hand its supposed to be a VR MMO, like with .hack or SAO but on the other the game world is actually real and the players get to remote control an android thingy called avatar.
With that said then how is it design as a game, considering the games you have to code them and thats pretty much it but in this case, you would have to separately code the avatars and build them, deisgn and build the entire crossworld and finally design and create the VR headsets that people use to control those avatars, its kinda convoluted.
I know im not supposed to ask so many questions but the answers you get are so vague (unless im not misremembering).
And its crossworld really set in some sort of offworld colony specifically designed to play games in?

Nah, that was just the lore for the MMO.

Lea is for Schneider

picked the fuck up

Too bad, Lea is straight.

Instant matter can be made into buildings and such, but there's real-world constructions and existing ruins that the game is built onto. The ship you're on is specifically a crew that maintains those constructions.

>It's the first game I've ever had to delay playing because it was unfinished at launch.
Pray tell, do dlc or expansions added before/after a game count if you can't get them immediately? What exactly is your criteria for an "unfinished" game?

>Lea is for Schneider

>That Vermilion wasteland bonding
>That fucking escape
>That "reunion" when you return back to Crossworlds

Attached: Give me a hug man.jpg (225x225, 8K)

Sidwell did nothing wrong

You have your fantasy, and I have my french-japanese scissoring session fantasy.

>Game is finished and is released.
>Developers add more stuff later for those who want more.
>This means the game is actually early access and incomplete.
I don't understand.

Expansions are almost always distinct from the base game. Same thing with DLC.
This is early access tier "oh yeah we finally finished that one quest and included it in an update" nonsense.

man fuck this game i thought it was some secret of mana type gameplay but it was just a puzzle platformer in a shitty aspect

>With this version we fulfill our long-standing promise to finally conclude "A Promise is a Promise" quest line! And here it is, complete with a new boss fight and a fair bit of plot development!
Talk like that should never be in an update to a finished game.

You mean like the post-game chapter specifically is?
Fuck off schizo.

CrossWorlds is essentially the most complicated VRMMO ever. The company that made it, Instatainment, specializes in using a futuristic material called instant matter that is extremely lightweight and fragile, making it useless for many practical applications but perfect for a game. The company bought a planet and built a bunch of buildings (some made with traditional materials and some made with instant matter I believe) as the setting for their VRMMO. NPCs, enemies, avatars, and more are all made of instant matter. Players are able to use their avatars like real bodies thanks to the eponymous CrossCode, a powerful piece of technology that allows for near-zero lag in communication of senses across huge distances of space using a headset of some sort. That, in addition to a hearty helping of virtual reality lead to the foundations of the game. If you were to be on the planet, you wouldn't actually see much of what's going on without the use of virtual reality glasses.

Best chapter in the game

There's zero indication of that. Not to mention all the NPC dialog they're adding and continue to add. The game simply wasn't finished at launch and should have stayed in early access.

this game has a criminally small amount of porn

>Shizuka shows up for the first time in Vermillion Wasteland, so mad that they made a clone of her and the development of said clone led to her being imprisoned in a shitty MMO with no endgame for years she assaults you
>second time, still so mad she straight up fights you as a boss
>third time, onii-sama says "yo chill out"
>she says "k then" and is now cool

Attached: 1547744249511.jpg (292x282, 26K)

Wait until it comes out on switch, then the japanese will probably be all over it.

Why the fuck is there close to no porn of the characters, specially the slutty french girl and the absolute best girl Lea?

>that hostage negotiation quest in Basin Keep

Attached: laughing cap.gif (250x250, 1.76M)

She's mad at you because she thinks you're a clone and that her brother was preferring Lea over her. Once she spends time talking to you she realizes your personalities aren't similar in any way and that you're a completely different person.

>Want to comission some
>tfw too shit at giving direction
>tfw too scared cite problems on the WIPs because I don;t want to hold them up on whatever else they're working on

Attached: 1532056526002.png (184x184, 15K)

Am I suck? I can't beat this stupid fucking rabbit.

Yes, you are the suck.

once she stops being a megabitch she realizes that lea is a completely different person.

That one quest should have been finished, yes, but the NPC dialog was part of a fan contest wasn't it? The game was essentially finished at release. The entirety of the base game is there (minus one quest) and the post-game content is DLC.

It hurts. Hopefully the Switch port helps the game gain some popularity and subsequently some lewds.

Shit. I knew it.

Learn to dodge

Attached: Lea.png (149x143, 5K)

I doubt that. Time will tell, but as it stands I'm going to give it a few more months before playing it.

Attached: Capture.png (688x58, 10K)

>you will never enter the observatory

>when schneider talks about leaving the game and going back to real life and Lea realizes all she has is the MMO

If you can't beat something, progress a bit to get better gear and come back

Either that or fucking learn how to fucking dodge

I can't argue with that, you might even get lucky and decide to pick it up right as a sale is going on

Attached: 1547340752198.png (1448x1242, 696K)

What is their weakness? How do I break them? Why can't I dodge all their shit?

Attached: 1452079913627.jpg (593x582, 69K)

Nothing else in the game felt remotely difficult. I think I missed a lot of gear progression, but I probably also suck.

>How do I break them?

>Why can't I dodge all their shit?
Because you need to git gud

Pretty sure I beat them without parrying

It's not that difficult user. Just be concise enough for them to understand what you want and provide good references. Don't worry about giving criticism on WIPs, you're paying them after all. Most artists will appreciate the criticism because it will better them.

not everyone can afford that hollow knight advertising team

I bought it as soon as it came out of early access because I assumed the devs were done with major updates. That's why it annoys me.

Who needs to parry when you can just switch to Wave on your regen build and get like 25% of your HP back instantly like a colossal faggot such as me

Works EVERY TIEM

I have to apply skill and brains? I thought I could tank and dodge everything without thinking and Wave abuse!

yeah, just platonic lesbian sex.

maybe the same reason naruto runs like naruto, it's easier to animate and saves resources.

is that the bravo bikini from bravely default?

>easier to animate
Even if that ever crossed their mind in anime that isn't how games work. You only create the motion once and then it repeats itself.

I'll take your advise and go artist hunting. I'm trying to get at least a picture for each girl in pic.

Pixiv is a good place to hunt for some cheap artists that do really good work.

Beowulf would probably be happier if that was the case.

Got any names in particular?

Asanagi.

I think the point of Rhombus City was meant to be housing and shopping for players. All the houses belong to avatars and all the services are for avatars, so it's probably a place for them.
And also probably going to be the place evotars will actually live in the ending where the devs approve their existence.

Different user here, isn't pixiv mainly for Japanese artists?

Exclusively for Japanese artists.

pixiv.net/member_illust.php?id=16398681

I've gotten a couple things done by this guy and he's quite good for the price.

There are some English speaking artists on there, albeit they don't have a huge grasp on the language. Just gotta find the right people.

Lots of non-JP artists moved there when tumblr banned all porn

>create sapient AI
>lol no banned
What is instatainment's problem

Wow affordable colors! Now I just have to think of what to have drawn.

I thought they moved to Newgrounds?

I hope the expansion lets us buy a house for Lea.
And then lets us decorate it how we see fit.

Lea being literally a sentient AI not being a huge fucking deal was kind of dumb desu, the bad end is dumb.

There's a bunch of unused places in Rhombus, including that wedding chapel

>be a company that just makes videogames
>autistic lead dev comes to you and shows you that they can create sapient AI by cloning an existing person's mind
>somehow you, a company that just makes videogames, is expected to deal with the massive ethical, social, and technological implications of this technology that would entirely change the course of human history
I'm not surprised that they didn't want to fuck with that shit until Ivan pressures them into doing so.

The project wasn't very far along when they pitched it to the higher ups right? Also, Lea couldn't really do much initially, she could barely even communicate.

According to them it was that they could create sapient AI but the higher ups refused to even consider it, so they went with the guy that tortures robots.

no that's exactly why it's like that in the anime. and you still have to animate it.

>consider evotars human enough to basically raise one
>have no qualms about torturing them and selling their data on the black market

Yeah I gotta agree with in that case

Is there a trick to hunting for artists that actually take commissions? I only ever find people who are perma-closed or are too e-popular to consider stooping to such a proletarian act as "taking commissions."
I usually stick to /aco/ commission thread because it's the only place I can reliably find artists who are open...

I'm at the "autumn fall" section and need to do two temples or something.
How much shit is left to before I see the ending? I feel burned out on this game, because the combat is boring and plot is not going anywhere.

They do own a planet

Fuck this game, I can't get through the desert temple because it lags too much

Attached: 1529110012914.png (1999x1323, 1.33M)

it's the future, owning a planet and being able to construct basic buildings on it is probably pretty simple

After Autumn's Fall:
>jungle area
>Wave temple
>Shock temple
>big ass tree dungeon
>nippon area
>"endgame"
>final dungeon

r34 wen

You still have a ways to go. Have you done the raid yet? The game really picks up from there.

You're forgetting the vermillion wasteland right after autumn's fall, where shit gets good

Attached: sadlea2.png (352x465, 36K)

Lags how?

Oh shit yeah, in my head Vermillion Wasteland was right BEFORE Autumn's Fall, not after. No wonder I thought it was bizarre he said he was at that point and "the plot was going nowhere", since it's there that shit hits the fan

Damn. It will take me months to finish this.

Attached: 1406714841870.jpg (683x934, 323K)

Enjoy it at your own pace mate.

Game's around 40 hours my dude, but there's no need to finish it as fast as possible

i wonder if the final crosscode update will also have the big endgame dungeon too or if that's more of a joke by the devs

I don't know why but at certain places the game would suddenly turn into a slideshow, usually turning off the enviromental effects and ambient would fix it but for some reason the it won't work for the temple.

Attached: 1530346780880.jpg (2480x1748, 594K)

shit took me 60 hours but I did literally everything and even took some time to grind a bit for endgame weapons because i wasn't ready to stop playing

>the entirety of Vermillion Wasteland
That was NOT okay
Although we have based Schneider to thank for protecting that smile.

Attached: 1445738016589.png (176x232, 21K)

I started playing in January.

>It's a "babysit the ball" puzzle

Attached: 1431702288988.jpg (189x189, 32K)

I love that Sergei calls Gautham out on this.

>final dungeon's babysit the ball puzzle isn't as hard as shock dungeon babysit the ball puzzle

Attached: 1540320246039.png (107x129, 24K)

also whoever the asshole was that decided the first dungeon was going to be the sliding blocks ice floor dungeon needs to get their ass kicked

literally how, are you playing on a calculator or something?

But sliding ice block puzzles are the best

kick this guy's ass!!!

From what I gathered, certain devices hates HTML5 games and unfortunately mine was one of them

Attached: 1547793742656.gif (500x357, 761K)

How the hell does Emilie solve puzzles so fast

It's not fair, game's good.

Temple Mine and Firaga Temple(whatever the name was) were gigantic, I was exhausted after finishing them.
How does anyone win the race without knowing the solution to all puzzles beforehand? Am I a brainlet?

She lets her fists do the thinking.

I won two races my first time through, and I went after every chest. To be honest I didn't even realize you COULD win them, I thought who won or lost each time was a fixed thing.

Most of them are 30 minutes for each half, no way I could have done that first time.
I ended 0-5 against Emily.

Imagine being retarded.

What should I concentrate on? Attack, Defense or Focus? Any interesting skill combination?

damn, that sucks.

Defense is the one that has the most returns but is kinda boring

Defense sucks, get HP is you wanna be tanky because healing is % based

Focus is great if you want to be a ranged boy or build into crit-damage circuits, otherwise go for Attack

>defense sucks
Level it up enough and every attack from everything does 2 damage

Well yeah, but at that point in the game you could be immortal AND obliterating everything instead of just being maximum over immortal

I went all in on ranged attacks. I don't give a shit about defense or melee. If I take damage, I chug pots and I have yet to run out of pots.

>super far future where humanity has spread to the stars
>current day french and german stereotypes still exists

Ahem
fuck dash arts though
>spins by ineffectually missing target unless it's a large enemy

>go full defence
>tank 90% of final boss attacks
I don't get why they implemented easy mode when this is possible.

crosscode has been in development for like 4 years

They probably have their own planets at that point.

It's probably because it WASN'T shilled everywhere. Yea Forums is the only place I've ever seen people talking about it.

the hologram one was useful, atleast I think so, I never remembered to use it in battle

Been in early access for like 4 years, so it didn't have that initial release surge

Bait a group of enemies, do a Lvl 3 Fire dash and come back here to talk.

>doing a level 3 fire dash when I can just do a level 3 melee art

fire tornado ftw

I'd imagine the post-game DLC is more about Lea trying to find her place in the world now that evotars are legal.

I found the homing wave move the best one.

>not living in planet France and working at the bagette farms

Hopefully we also get some closure on that post-credits scene with Tronny.

You mean Sidwell?

>the whole postgame episode is just comfy guild moments

>love the game
>bought it for 4 other people
>convinced like 6-7 people to buy it
>convinced some anons on here to buy it
>couldn't play through it because jrpg style means it just takes fucking for ever to do ANYTHING to advance the plot

Yeah, that's what gets me. Tronny has to be Sidwell, but his actions as the antagonist and his actions as a close friend of Lea (who helped her recover from trauma he himself caused) are just at odds with each other. Maybe he got too into the roleplaying like Gautham did, but the post-credits scene is obviously there to stir these kinds of questions, and I want the answers.
Also, the way he just conveniently bumps into Lea on his alt. account is a little suspect. He joined the First Scholars before she did, and probably would have even without Lea's chance encounter with Emilie.

Did getting bigger boobs make Lea dumber and more fun?

Or did being dumber and more fun make Lea's boobs bigger?

Remember Sidwell basically viewed Lea as a daughter. He tortured a bunch of AI but he wasn't some evil overlord, just a criminal information broker.

Also I think running into her was less coincidence than it might seem. Gautham would have told him that she escaped into Crossworlds proper, so he created an alt to follow the MMO's storyline to try and track her down, joining up with a guild as a cover.

Devs literally had the chance to bring this game to a wider audience with a ps4/switch port and fucking canceled it because "muh too much work not enuff monee lol sowwy"

I got the impression that parts of it are instant matter, parts of it constructed by the ground crews. Areas that are heavily used like the city could be made of actual materials to make it invunerable to evotars. Sure it can be rebuilt quickly but maybe holding shapes like that is hard on the systems. It was also mentioned that rain might be a problem, which means it would be beneficial to have those areas be as 'real' as possible.

On the other hand its possible that the ground crew just sets up broadcasters and control rooms to spread instant matter everywhere on the Crossant. Though with how loaded their ship was with heavy cargo containers it seems like its more than just machinery.

Early in the game a couple of players mention that the "update" for Rookie Harbor is actual construction work, so for the most part Crossworlds is made out of standard matter. The land was simply terraformed, and things like buildings are made out of normal materials; it's just the innards and a few other things like hazards that are made out of instant matter.

I swear. The dodging is complex and fun for this game. I think some of those shogun bugs you actually need to dodge towards when they're attacking. Go back they dash a little further and hit you. Go sideways their fuckhuge arc hits you. Go towards them though and you slip right past them and end up behind them.

Though I could be remembering my foes wrong and that was some other mob.

Pentafist puzzles are dumbed down. Its the only possibility.

I just straight up decided I wasn't going to get any dash arts. Made filling out my grid that much easier.

Only seen this girl as a reaction image, what is the game like and is it actually good or is it just waifufags reposting shit? I've been surprised by Yea Forums gems like One Way Heroics before, so I'm not too adverse to testing it, but want to know opinions. Any best version or console to play on, or anything I might've missed since it's been out for a while?

It's sort of link to the past meets a JRPG, with the general story being whatever that term is for an anime about characters playing a real world MMO.

It's only on Steam right now, with Switch and PS4 versions in the works.
And it's really great. Solid RPG with simple yet fluid combat, customizable skill trees, great characters, and a precious cinnamon bun as a lead character.

It's a puzzle game disguised as a ARPG.
Solid all around, 7.5/10. Obviously not for brainlets.

I'm down for that. Combat looked sorta Ys-y to me, so I'll give it a shot, thanks.

Does that girl get to talk properly in the end or she just stays in this uninteresting cheap """cute""" monologues?

She's a mute

so she spends the whole game repeating the same words like "hi"? christ.

Tablechan is cute

Don't bully Lea.
