The fun stopped when you left the plateau

Is this Lost Woods? I don't even remember this location.

The fun stopped when you left you're mom's womb

Do people seriously hate the Lost Woods section? It was the highlight of my initial playthrough and I wished there were more moments like it.

fpbp

game is bland and empty as fuck

..But Lost Woods is easy to get through.

It's not hard. I did it on horseback without much trouble.

It stumped me a few times because I have zero sense of direction. Now, escorting that one Korok while avoiding detection, that was a nuclear pain in the ass.

HOW FUCKING DARE YOU, FAGGOT
I tried playing through this game three times before selling my switch, but it's so boring

Based retard

thats like saying dark souls is easy because you beat it with a trainer

If you ever played any other Zelda game, there is no excuse, you must have done this part on your first try.

This game is so good

Yes

Fucking this. I kept playing for a few hours asking where the fuck would be anything interesting at all but it was all "crafting materials"
Not a single new tool. A single one. Nothing. The shit you get on the tutorial is all. Why even bother making a game out of that.

OP here not gonna lie that's what I meant to post

finally did it but I was about ready to break something by the time I was done. Not even hard just really goddamn tedious. Why do devs keep putting these kinds of missions in their games, I'm convinced not a single soul likes them.

The frames stop here

piss boring game

The fun stops here

the fun stopped when it was announced in e3 2014 as i go into the future and tear my nintendo switch to smithereens

this is because its just clueless japs trying to imitate western open world games

they should just stick to making curated and gated gardens, I've never played a JP open world game that wasn't complete crap and felt like I was playing something western from a decade ago

>Post BOTW image
>Thread IMMEDIATELY fills to the brim crying about the game

Don't you people have some movies to watch on your Basedstation 4 or something?

I don't understand the complaint. I always bring a torch with me anyway, and all I did was follow the trail the torch indicated. It was very simple.

>Go into forest
>Follow torches
>Wind blows in the direction of the next torch
>Suddenly torches stop
>"ah I get it"
>Light my own torch
>Carefully step out into the woods, following my torch's embers as they blow in the wind
>Eventually reach the Korok town

That easy. If you couldn't figure this out yourself you're a fucking brainlet.

I spent more time configuring CEMU than playing it and once it started I thought I was gonna love it but it has no fucking depth whatsoever. There's a lot of gimmicky shit you can do but that's it. I also absolutely despise how fast your weapons degrade. It never feels like you have any progression whatsoever due to this and it makes exploration completely pointless since nothing you get stays with you. It's just stupid.

>incoming mad nintenbronies
Whatever. Blow me.

>if you dislike this game you must be a sony shill
Who is the real drone here? Game is shallow as fuck for a Zelda game.

t. brainlet

The problem isn't the devs. It's that theyre trying to imitate one of the most oversaturated and uninspired genre's of this decade. There is no such thing as a good open world game

That disappointed me, too. You get the champion powers but those aren't especially exciting and make the game easier than it already is.

I managed to do it before realizing the torch thing, wasn't the easiest method, and I wasn't the smartest by missing the torch thing. Just have some patience

Based

BUT user WE WANT TO SHITPOST

aww the poor kid dindt get new toys, dont worrt, rdr2 might be more for your mental level

I hated the tailing section so goddamn much but the rest of it was cool.

/thread

>Cool puzzle to enter
>Place of the Master Sword
>Great Deku Tree
>Koroks all over the place
>Three cool little sidequests (I did the tailing mission my first try and didn't see a problem with it, maybe I wast jus lucky)
It was great.

Two years.

This legit took me 5 mins by just wandering randomly you can't be shit enough to get stuck here

Fpbp as always

Probably just the morons who can't figure it out. It was my favorite rendition of the Lost Woods.

>this is because its just clueless japs trying to imitate western open world games

I have to give them props for making it easier to get around and all the little touches they had though. It made most other open world games feel really bland to me (most of them are, but...)

I spent the rest of the game praying the shrines I went into would at least have good puzzles

the torch thing was immediately obvious to me.
magnises to locate iron was also immediately obvious.
the korok stealth quest was the only thing I struggled with but that is just my extreme lack of patience. it's not a puzzle it's just a big patience check.

I don't think I even realized what I was supposed to be doing and still got through the forest without any problems

Not sure if bait but i agree.. shrines were way too easy and i had to force myself to finish the game. Felt like a shitty assassins creed. Pretty lame that the traditional outfit was unlocked after all 120 shrines, master sword was nerfed, hard mode was dlc, and there was nothing interesting to do after the shrines were done

How many people actually figured out the torch thing? I had to look it up.
They give you a torch, so I knew it had something to do with a torch, but my natural assumption was just that you had to keep the torch lit to make it through the woods.

I figured it out.

It's so easy to see. The torch embers are nearly blowing at a 90 degree angle so it comes off looking so strange. Once you notice that the ember streams are pointing to the next torch and that they handed you a torch at the beginning of the area, it's easy to know what you're supposed to do when the torch path finally runs out.

I just looked at the way the wind was blowing uing all the lights in the air. It was easy enough, so I never though to try another method.

I figured it out yeah

If you're retarded, yes.

It wasn't that bad. Not great but it only took like 10 minutes

The shrine quest there where you have to follow that little shit without being seen was AIDS though

It's probably the literal retards who kept failing it like the retards they are that hated it. It was one of my favorite parts as well.

Do we still not have a proper nude mod for BotW? I don't mean a pornographic mis-matched erect penis pasted onto Link type of mod, but I mean a mod that replicates the simple pleasure of running around nude in the wild. Has this happened yet?
Don't bother giving me immediate (You)'s, as I'm about to go play Resident Evil 2™ with my friend, but I will await relevant discussions to this topic.

we do

Why are you like this? Can't you just let a BotW thread exist without this retarded pointless shitflinging?
