i have a cintiq. its a good tablet but the cord is awful.
getting it to work is a chore and sometimes i just go weeks without drawing because i dont want to fuck with it. I dunno how the cables are on the newest ones nor the other brand ones. Make sure you use Gunnars or a blue light filter so your retinas dont detach like half of pixar staff.
I heard unironically that ipad pro with a stylus and procreate/photoshop mobile is just as good if not better.

Alf was very good. I can't say anything for the cartoons in particular, but the sitcom series was great; despite the on-set drama and number of accidents, such as actors falling through the floors in portions built for the Alf puppet to come through.
The writing was good, the puppeting was good, and there was a lot of love and effort put into it. And it didn't stray away from stronger issues like alcoholism, cancer, nuclear holocausts, and more.
I also like that the creator of Alf treats him like a real person, and nearly refuses to let people see Alf being puppetered. There was an event, I believe for MTV, where they had to build a special wall in the bleaches specifically to hide Alf's puppeter.
It just sucks the series ended on a cliff-hanger, after the studio lied about a final season, and then a bad movie capped off the series several years later.
If you haven't seen it, give it a go - The first few episodes are slow, introducing Alf as a character and doing stereotypical alien on earth things, but it picks up fast, and Alf is a comedy gold-mind.
Also, nobody ever talks about it, but there is a blooper in the opening credits of the first few seasons, where behind the son, the camera strays a little off set, and you can see the lighting equipment behind it.
