Having to effectively take a detour to try a boss again is a flaw. Microtransaction shit, they put the orb revive right in front and almost hid the correct option behind layers.
When i die i should click "restart" and then boom i go to the start of the level or the checkpoint, not this second wind bullshit that takes time and i tell you when you've been fighting vergil and your brain is activated those 7-10 seconds feel like hours.
Not using orb revive is an unpleasant experience and they knew what they were doing.

You start off in this old town with somewhat modern infrastructure. Then you go into the bushes basically and enter old ruins spread on the island. Go underground into some very persian and arabic looking temples. Then there's a flat out modern city. And in the end Arius' skyscraper turns into a wobbly goopy mass of flesh.

The game unfortunately disable Subsurface scattering during gameplay, even if you activate it in the option it's only active for cinematics. Without this effect this is what happens to the characters in certain lightning conditions.

yes, GP01's neutral is a hop up if you're on the ground and down if you're in the air. It's 1000x better than the standard push, you get a parry that puts you in the air alongside being probably the quickest in the game

Definitely do, I think there's a lot of potential that hasn't been discovered yet with GP01, imo it makes Overture useless with it's parry. I can go up against a Proto Angelo, do a vertical parry, then immediately shoot downwards to launch him for an air combo

They explain it in the game. Rebellion fuses demonic energies while Yomato fissures them. Rebellion fused Dante, the man, with Sparda to create Dante, the sword. Yomato can't be improved. Vergil is at his hard limit while Dante is theoretically limitless. Thematically, the reason is to reinforce the power of humanity. Sparda gave the quadratic-strength sword to his more-human son and the linear-strength sword to his more-demonic son.
