OH NO, THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO CRUSH ANTHEM YET ITS CRUSHING ITSELF. WE WERE SUPPOSED TO WIN UBI BROS, THE GAME WASN'T SUPPOSED TO LOOK WORSE THEN THE FIRST. IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO BE THIS BUGGY.
NOOOOOO
Honestly for any of us who played the first game, we saw this coming. This is another nail in the coffin for looter shooters. It is not acceptable to have a game that looks worse then CS:S in 2019.
But the beta was fun, and i like the overgrown aesthetic more than snow.
Cameron Cruz
Game literally looks fine for me. Maybe stop being on a toaster because nobody else is reporting the graphics being "worse."
Jackson Kelly
How does this looks worse than CS? I don't care about the Division but stop parroting shit that it isn't true
Chase Johnson
>Looks better than the first game >Has more content on launch for the first game >Beta was more stable than the entirety of D1 >Pre-order sales already surpassed D1
>OH NO NO NO NO You faggots need to go outside for once.
Christian Morales
If you want looks, go play Anthem. That's all that game has going for it anyways.
Benjamin Campbell
This is Yea Forums, I'm gonna have to call you a ubisoft apologist for stating facts
Anthony Morales
They're both shitty, shallow, empty games that are all looks over substance. I'm shocked there's actually people taking sides with these fucking blemishes
Isaiah Foster
They have a lot to fix. They should just abandon the RPG style shit, and go for straight up realism. The RPG shit is just padding, and an excuse to be lazy.
how are we still making third-person wack-a-mole cover shooters in the year of our lord 2019
Austin Fisher
>tries to play at a high resolution >computer is obviously on fire and struggling that's not how it looked on my screen during the beta, PClet. Maybe ditch the 2050ti?
Jason Kelly
The RPG content is literally the only reason people play The Division. Go play Wildlands if you don't like that stuff.
Isaac Gutierrez
>Ubisoft creates some awfully boring games >they sells fuckloads of copies what is their secret?
Logan Adams
what exciting games do you play, user?
Nicholas Bell
Fuck you, I want a loot game. Go play R6. I don't want another tacticool shooter, I want more of what TD1 had after 1.8 pulled it out of the gutter.
Aiden Adams
>retard doesn't like to shoot people in the face with 30 bullets to take down a normal human >he doesn't like grinding for marginally better loot only to discard it later
Carter Gray
Nothing made by ubisoft, pretty much
Aaron Lewis
But Wildlands siucks too, the AI makes the whole game brain dead easy
Jason Thompson
Name a video game you play user. It shouldn't be that hard! :)
Joshua Diaz
4X games and Crusader Kings
Angel Lopez
>no snow Aaaaaaand dropped
Caleb James
>Space games for the autistic who are too shitty to play an action based game like Wing Commander good job
Nathaniel Howard
>Looks better than the first game Except it literally doesn't. >Beta was more stable than the entirety of D1 Memory leaks and constant disconnects huh? Sure was stable.
Leo Rivera
Wasn't that all patched out?
Mason Flores
>The RPG content is literally the only reason No it isn't. Wildlands is atrocious, a complete downgrade. They need flags on here, so I can automatically discard the opinions of non-Americans. imfdb.org/wiki/Division,_The
You got Anthem, you got Destiny.
Adam Ramirez
Memory leak was in the first beta for me, not the 2nd one. Never had disconnects in the 2nd beta. Maybe in the first one. On the topic of looks, it's literally the same thing as the first just a different environment. Graphically it's the same with some minor improvements.
Camden Morgan
>You got two pieces of garbage worse than Division in every single way. I demand that Division changes and caters to my needs alone!
which both sucked dick. The Division did too at first, but 1.8 really turned the game around and people started coming back. I don't see why a popular game has to change genres just to suit your faggot ass.
Not that it matters; it didn't and it won't. Too bad.
Jeremiah Reyes
inb4 the faggot youre replying to posts isolated and rare occurences.
Blake Davis
>I demand that Division changes and caters to my needs alone! I'm pretty certain one of the primary complaints of the game was bullet sponges. And it's still there, using bullet sponges to substitute for lazy, shit AI.
Liam Wood
From what I've played of the beta the AI has improved quite a bit. There were quite a bit of posts about the improvement of the AI also. Bullet sponges are still there, but less so because of the armor system. If you know how it works, it's not nearly as bad. If you don't, you're going to get an even worse result than the first. At least that's what I've experienced. Only problem is the game doesn't really tell you how the new system works, or at least it didn't in the beta. Hopefully it does now because I don't want this info coming from youtubers and word of mouth.
Robert Martinez
>Bullet sponges Several years after release and people still keep peddling this when the Striker goods alone in Div1 trivialised and demolished every single end game enemy to the point where you could solo everything.
Thomas Phillips
Yikes, looks like I upset the shill.
Kayden Turner
What's wrong with this, I don't really have a clue what the image is supposed to show. I actually didn't know if I used a aus VPN I could play it early so ima do that after work
Landon Clark
Get laid virgin incel
Lucas Barnes
I think you can only play it if you bought the gold edition. Regular edition releases on the 15th. I don't know what the OP meant by the screenshot either desu. I don't think the game looks amazing next gen tech (it's literally not), but it looks fine. Never really cared for graphics, as long as the gameplay satisfies me. Anthem was the opposite. Game looked fucking great, shame the gameplay was really underwhelming.
Lucas Martinez
Played the two open betas.
Looks exactly the same as the 1st one. You niggers probably just crying because theres no snow.
Brody Green
>The beta was fun
State the last time you played a beta that wasn't fun. Companies do this on purpose, because the game is shallow and you'll get burnt out mere hours after buying it. Happens every single goddamn time and yet it still happens. It's a business practice that is designed to scam you out of your money.
Hunter Williams
>all these aid ubishills raiding the thread your game is shit, all looter shooters are shit. deal with it.
Xavier Murphy
In the first beta I did miss the snow quite a lot. After playing the second beta I actually really enjoy the environment in the 2nd one. Honestly can't wait to explore the whole map. The rain was pretty dope too. Heavy fog after, enemies not being able to see you because of it.
Camden Price
Seems like a step up from D1.
I like the whole help other settlements for stuff for your main base
Adam Cruz
what games do you play, user? :)
Liam Russell
The scrawny hipster psychos charging you constantly with batons seems really out of place.
Logan Morales
>bullet sponges
I mean, don't make me go get the videos
Nathan Taylor
I didn't know Binyot had a copy of this game.
Henry White
games I have enjoyed recently DMC1 DMC2 Gothic 1 Shadowrun Dragonfall,. still gotta finish DMC3 to end the HD collection
Leo Brown
Anthems demo/beta was in no way fun, it was one of the most broken experiences I've ever seen, there was no enjoyment that could have been had.
Xavier Green
I guess that's one good thing about no snow, you can actually have things happen outside of indoor areas to make the world feel alive. Seeing friendly NPCs walking around going to do shit was really odd. I'm still not sure their entire purpose outside of making the world feel more alive. They would usually be going to go collect water or food. I noticed on the map some of the foot/water/scrap hubs turn green. I guess that's territory control. Curious how fast those change. Also interested to see if it actually has any effect on surrounding friendly places I've "captured". Seemed like there were more hostile npcs outside also. I swear every street had something happening.
Henry Bell
Anthem is an exception because nobody even tried to cover up that mess. I think it's the only case where they did a beta to specifically prevent players from wasting their money on it.
Levi Evans
db fighterz beta was my deal breaker. It was so bad i went back to mvci, i aint even kidding.
Cameron Stewart
this is my first 'looter shooter' game since Borderlands 2. is there anything specific i should know going in? im sure the game will be tutorialised as fuck, but still.
Dylan Green
I played the beta, and I thought it was one of the most generic and uninspired experiences I've ever had.
The cover shooter gameplay doesn't innovate beyond Gears of War from 2006. The skills are so boring it hurts. The active skills aren't even fun to use, they are clunky and annoying (at least on PC). It's a loot-centric game, yet the loot is boring. Two weapons of the same type are basically the same thing except stat rolls. Where's the unique items that change the way you play the game?
From what I played in the beta, the dark zone was the only somewhat interesting content available. The story did not draw me in at all, and I found quests repetitive and boring. Random events left a lot to be desired. Once you've seen them all at least once, you have no want to see them again.
These games really aren't for me. I don't see the appeal. The only thing they offer over any other big budget AAA game is longevity. But more content doesn't equal good content. I'd rather play a game until I stop having fun with it, then move on to the next. When I compare this to other AAA games that I've played recently, like God of War and Resident Evil 2 Remake, it's no contest. Short but sweet, neatly packaged games that end before they get too stale OR doing the same generic content over and over to watch numbers go up?
Looking forward to playing DMC5 next.
Wyatt Cooper
no shit fag. the grind is the whole point of the game.
Adrian Watson
There are grindy mobile games with more interesting gameplay loops. Why this?
Julian Peterson
>is there anything specific i should know going in? it's worse than borderlands 2
Henry Bailey
Focus on taking out armored enemies armor first and focus the spot you destroyed. Once that shit is gone you'll really tear into people. Also the drone seems really good and I'd at least invest in the heal drone for PVE and maybe a turret if you're going to be alone a lot of the time.
Daniel Morales
I only got a day of play but the turret seems really fucking handy as it both distracts and deals decent damage.
James Nguyen
Porn and VN games. At least they are bug free and rewards time investment with titties.
Julian Jenkins
>where's the unique items that change the way you play
In endgame, after you've played the game for some time.
>I don't see the appeal
You're fucking retarded.
Samuel Russell
>grindy mobile games with more interesting gameplay loops
Such as? Division has a wider enemy variety than fucking some mmo's and its done entirely with human beings with guns
Levi Campbell
>GR:FS Currently replaying that game, I hope we'll get another game like this some day. They weapon customization and gunplay was amazing, it's sad that it was so short and the ally ai was kinda shit.
Mason Gonzalez
Did the division have handcrafted legendary gear or was everything completely randomized?
Eli Thompson
Oh most definitely. I used it a lot since I played D1 solo. It draws almost all the aggro immediately and does good damage on its own. D1 let you spec into 2 paths, a (shitty) single fire taser, and a short ranged flamethrower. This one changed the taser for a sniper that I didn't really use.
Logan Phillips
Iirc it was kind of like diablo where you could craft things with a few set attributes and a few variables.
Christian Bell
lmaoing at all the seething boiling ubifags in this thread. Your tastes are trash and you play trash.
Michael Anderson
Shoot the close combat guys first (lightning bolt), then healers (cross), then controllers (wifi), then grenadiers (grenade), then anyone else (probably snipers).
Elijah Thompson
Take a seat and tell me how ubisoft hurt you, user.
Mason Jenkins
how are shotguns in this game? ideally i could make a build when i can just walk up to enemies and facetank them while unloading on them. is this possible? i dont really like using cover, but rolling is OK.
Dylan Lee
At least it has an endgame, EA shill
Jace Rogers
I don't think facetanking will work. Actually, now that I think about it, there's this shield you can attach to guns that seemed to work pretty well in a video I saw. Not sure if they changed it, but it was pretty fucking strong with shotguns. Aside from that however I wouldn't recommend tanking shit because replenishing your armor takes a couple of seconds and once that's gone you're essentially a sitting duck.
Grayson Ward
If not for the industry being trash and not putting out any coop games, I'd avoid this trash, but unfortunately this looks like the only relatively decent coop out.
Liam Hernandez
Great at point blank. Shit from 10 feet away.
The Division 1 had a special perk that allowed you to wield a riot shield and SMG. So SMGs are more used. Not sure about D2.
