Sony, Microsoft, EA and Zynga all tried that and failed. Apple sort of succeeded but the industry would have already gone to hell anyway. What is Google bringing to the table here that hasn't already been made? Either they make new, original and ultimately good games or they're just going to fail like everyone else has.
