changes what up, exactly? all they add in is new skins and voice lines. game is dead unless they overhaul it in such way that it's 70% FPS and 30% moba. currently it's 40% fps and 60% moba.

This game died because of how shallow the characters are desu. Even with 2 abilities and an ultimate you quickly hit a wall with them because there are so few interesting applications for the ability beyond its basic use. After only a few hours with a character you know everything with them and can do it proficiently. Every class in TF2 has some meat to bite into, minus the Heavy who's a bit of a black sheep but he still works ok

oh, and there's something else. tf2 would probably not be as popular or as long lived if it didn't have as much freedom with custom content. you could make custom maps, weapon texture replacements/weapon model replacements, character model replacements, sound mods, custom sprays, the works. there is absolutely no customization to overwatch and that's where they really screwed the pooch.

also the fact that on custom servers you can't increase the amount of players per team, so you will always have boring 6v6 shitfests.

I still play it every couple of weeks or so, but the comp system is so shit, in a team based shooter my SR depends on my team regadlress of performance? But if I win my SR will go up 10 maybe even 5, if I lose it goes down 30? There is no logic to the system, even gold and plat players have asked for change and they haven't addressed it at all. Kinda deserve it, even if the OWL is comfy and fun to watch.

Overwatch is the only FPS where I can't effortlessly carry in Casual matches. It's way too team oriented. The individual has a small impact in how the match plays out in comparison to something like TF2/CSGO/Quake
