The problem isn't hiring females, it's hiring young students fresh out of college who are still in that time of their life where they think politics is everywhere and must be in everything.
Devs nowadays want to hire people who are well connected to social media and young, as to show a proper image of their company. Sadly these people are usually the worst at properly writing and are more concerned with internet points and being politically correct and inclusive as their core values tell them.

Apart from being very talented, he spent 2 years as a freelancer and 4 years working for video game companies. We also have to take into account that the 90s were very very different times when it comes to video games and social media. Social media was nonexistent and video games were a somewhat 'outcast' form of entertainment, not really expected to conform to social norms at all, which is why things like Fallout 1&2 exist.

Well it's because they're equals of such extremely polar opposite philosophies implemented to such an extreme level results in them basically wanting to kill each other more than anything else

At this point upgrade systems and persistant unlockables are kinda boring to me.
Would be better if unlockables were per match. CoD's kill streaks + BFs scoring applied to weapons and armor per match.
Maybe have it so you can choose apply a large bonus to yourself, or smaller bonuses spread out among teammates.
Unlockable cosmetic items maybe, if you need to show off your 1337 skills like a fag.
