If you like to play video games that use some sort of controller input yeah

I thought there were too many collectibles to try and find them all. The world is great for traversals but it’s the only great aspect of it. Many weapon options is great too

Yeah, I'd say so. I love the weapons, the humor, the movement system and all.

>Never played it.
>Worth going back to?
>back to
>the thing you never played

>looks aestheticly wack and reminds me of jet set radio and splatoon
>see a trailer
>get bored to hell

grinding on rails is incredibly fun, and while there are missions that are essentially tower defense, they are fun unlike the shit show that was brutal legends.

People who made this made ratchet and clank, so you know there are tons of wacky and fun guns. sprinklers + harpoon willl be your best friend for a decent bit of time.

jokes are sometimes trying to hard to be meta and 4th wall breaking. there is one scene that basically your character interupts the person talking to them, says "yeah okay i get it, just tell me to go somewhere and I'll just follow the waypoint that pops up, lets get this cutscene over. And even though you aren't going to move when the scene ends, you will magically disapear as well, right?' or some shit like that

No.

How wack and fun this is? I tried Watch_dogs 2 after i kinda enjoyed the first game but the game is the same shit as every other 3° person shooter, even the hacking got the batman vision treatment, but what really the last nail on the coffin was the characters. I couldn't stand it, it was too much for me, like i was watching an nickelodeon series or fortinite flash mob.

it is very reminescent of the tony hawk games in terms of wackyness

there are tons of little mini game challenges you can do to get clothes and stuff for your characters. You get tons of crazy guns, like a fire cracker assault rifle or a gun that shoots record discs at enemies. One of the coolr ones you can get is a bowling ball gun that can mow down entire rows of enemies. You can upgrade them to do some really unique things too. Like every shot has a chance to create a electric shock that stun all enemies around them, or cause an explosion if on enemy is killed. You can also upgrade your character. On of my favorite abilties lets you grind rails, but as you do so, you create napalm fire grenades that just absolutely fuck over anything below you.
These character abilities only come into effect through a style meter. the more mayhem you do while doing unique movements builds it up. The more style, the quicker it builds.
The aim of the game is to keep moving, as being slow will fuck you over. So it will never feel unnatural trying to build that meter.

It is a really solid game.

Thanks Bros the only no failed to bother to even explain why so I'll add it to the list

Thanks not a native speaker makes sense

Reminds me of dead rising, and the "keep moving" reminds of the good old days of early shooters.

You got me hooked user.

>not wanting to make an olive-skinned QT and grind around while killing monsters all day
>not wanting to dress her up and make her wear skimpy clothes while she leaps, rolls, and grinds around the city

But for real the combat is really fun and exciting. Leave auto-aim on because it lets you move around more without focusing super hard on your aim.

Is the PC port for this any good?

Yes. The movement and mobility is fun as fuck.

Yea, just dont use kbm. It has non snap autoaim so its fine.

Traversals fun, combat has a decent variety of guns. Missions are kinda repetitive. The thing most likely to turn you off is the dialogue, the game makes nonstop jokes and nearly all of them fall flat.

thats good, the controls feel a bit off at first because it was designed as a console shooter, but when you get the hang of grinding it is just spectacular and will feel like any other pc shooter game. You get more movement options as the game progresses btw, so it gets even crazier a few hours in.

After playing Saints Row, this is a good follow up

>shitty xbox meme cringe game is unironically discussed on forward slash vee forward slash
Zoom zoom zoomer

ignore other dude, keyboard mouse is the way to go. it feels strange at first but when you get the hang of it, it is so absurdly fun. Mouse and keyboard have the same auto aim system, make sure to keep it on because you will be concentrating on moving far more than aiming. The only awkward part of mouse+keyboard is grinding, but when you figure out how it moves, it feels so natural compared to controller

But spiderman capeshit faggotry by same dev is ok

>Made a qt fem a protagonist that I want to jack to
>Porn doesn’t exist for her since it’s literally a character I created
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Controller is basically always for third person action/platformers. You can't seriously be arguing that the platforming is better on kbm. The only thing I felt I was lacking when I was on controller was the inability to flick 180°. Kbm feels like shit. If you're fine with being limited to octodirectional movement and also eating shit I can see why you wouldn't have a problem.

You'll be bored after the first hour.

Its fun at first but its pretty much same shit for 20-25 hours, there is no variety in the missions at all, in all of them you kill bunch of same enemies, and or try to find some specif items which isn't fun as it breaks the flow completely. There are few tower defense missions which were somewhat fun, but they are incredibly easy and becomes pretty dull after second one.

Oh and dont get me started on the dialogue

For some people it is, for some people like me it stutters like crazy and makes it nearly unplayable, at least not fun.

Hey retard, you are on grind rails 90% of the game and any movement needed to go to other parkour sections can be done easilly with kbm. You litterally will have less fun using a controller because of how much less snappy the camera is. Kbm is objectively the best way to play. Now if this game was more melee based? Controller all the way, but its not.

Go try it out, it really ia the best way to play it
