idk if its just me but the game play trailer was sorta shit

>u
Why do you type like a braindead nigger?

it's literally not even a real game you fucking retard

i was hoping it would be single player bioshock-esque game but it looks to be multiplayer open world survival crafting garbage like rust or nether
so nah, its a bust

Wasn't it revealed that this was just CGI trailers and there's no progress being made on the actual game?

>Wasn't it revealed
stop listening to random youtubers speculation

Setting looked great gunplay looked like dogshit.

It wasn't just CGI but there is still no progress beyond one unfinished stage and extremely rudimentary shooting mechanics after years of development.

i hope it's legit, that trailer was kino as fuck

>the CEOs are incompetent idiots who hire and fire programmers like weekly and don't care about the endproduct as long as it looks good and makes the customer buy it
>the only somewhat decent person is the lead artist who is basically the guy who does all the work
>programmers are getting hired and fired like weekly and they amassed gigs upon gigs of junk data by now that everyone starting there has to first dig through

>the trailer was mainly made for EA but when their representative saw it at their studio he had no clue what to make of it and left, head shaking
>it was partly done in Maya and features shit from the artist's old, unrelated projects like that white fuzzy humanoid
>game is like 20% done, runs like shit and has no concept at all

>their VR game Soviet Lunapark was more or less just a way to squeeze money out of people with a halfassed game made of pre-existing assets
>no one who made it knew how to code and they used UE Blueprint for it
>was released in an unfinished state by the CEO without the knowledge of the rest of the team
>now got taken off steam and sold to a VR park company that coincidentally opened up just before and like 15 minutes away from their studio in Moscow

I think it is not a real game at all.

It IS a real game but don't expect something like the next Stalker or Bioshock from it but instead the next Agony, if not worse.
They're obliged to deliver a game due to private investors backing the project but there's a snowball's chance in hell that it will be good.

this game isn't real
seriously though what's up with these games that are developed by absolute nobodies, release trailers few and far between, unreleased for many months or even years after announcement, yet manage to also release on all major platforms?

Absolutely 7Framed tier

Run this through Google Translate for a nice read about the "development":

Its fucking hilarious how normies fall for games like Atomic Heart. It was the same with agony. Anybody who actually likes video game can see from a mile away that these were going to be complete failures.

Basically, journo from russian damedev site DTF went to Mundfish office and they let him play the game. He says it looks fine, runs well, enemies have pretty standard AI, nothing about the accusations seem to be true thus far. There are about 30 or so devs, plus some outsourcing partners working on the game, and they were all in there working while he visited.

*gamedev

not really worth talking about other then pointing out it'll probably be never ever. Just keep you eye on it as Slavs tend to be good at salvaging shit into somewhat interesting polished turds

>"Plus, we have a partner with whom we do various projects together - both in IT and non-IT"

>Seriously fucking? Projects in IT?
>Yes, just look at the laying of the local network in the studio's office to visually evaluate the approach to the implementation of IT projects. Level pokhuizma - OVER9000!

>Not to mention the fact that the studio itself looks like it is not immediately clear - they rented a gymnasium in a rural school or an empty room in a ruined housing office?

>In short, everything is much worse than it seemed before.

The comment section is a blast.

>About the money is in the text of RBC:

>According to Bagratuni and Sedova, they invested their own funds. Mundfish also has a shareholder not participating in operational management. According to SPARK, 50.5% of the company is controlled by Tatyana Korchagin, the remaining shares belong to Sedova. Tatyana's husband Sergey Korchagin owns Maima Milk, one of the largest dairy processing enterprises in Altai, before he was a minority shareholder of Mani Bank. Korchagin is also the main owner of the Russian legal entity Source. Korchagins have known the founders of Mundfish for a long time. “Periodically, we are doing joint projects,” Sedova said without details, citing the fact that partners are non-public people. RBC magazine failed to contact them.

>But almost the entire location of the forest of atomic hert. Bought for 13 thousand on the stack. And what did they do? Puppet designs? I am sure that much in the game such as tables, chairs, wall textures, etc., is also purchased.
For the AAA project to buy super popular packs in the store is a megazashkvar

And yes, those totally are store-bought assets.

PUBG basically did that to be fair

That one never boasted being a AAA game, AFAIK, or tried to sell itself on its unique visuals made by an experienced designer who made commercials for major companies.

Also, if you showcase your weaponry in your trailer footage you might want to do it with something else than one of the most iconic weapons in cinema history.
And no, just because it was a semi-easteregg across the Fallout franchise doesn't make it any better.
