I would play again if I could mod better combat, and I've tried before. Ultimately the animations and lack of real time weapon tracers hold it back and promote number chasing and button mashing over skill, and skill creates more tense encounters.

How's the mod compatibility? I saw some weirdness with some Ordinator perks not working with VR but there are compatibility patches.

I had no problems with mods, including ordinator. The first week or so it didn't work well but after that there was some fixes and it all seems good now. I got to live my life as a necromancer and it was great.
Archery is really fun as well. Magic and archery are great, melee is a bit waggly.
