There is no way this series is considered a masterpiece, right? its a joke and everyone is memeing me, aren't they?

You know there's a movie that replaces that ending right? They justify it as the last two episodes are the internal representation of what is going on in the main character's head while the events of the movie unfold, but really they just ran out of money. Watch the movie, it's actually a fantastic film and way better than the tv series or anything else to do with NGE for that matter.

Yes, i know it existed but i didn't enjoyed the serie, why would i keep watching something i don't feel attached to?
I also don't like AoT, but i understand why people do. It has cool moments. Not for me, but cool nonetheless.
Evangelion has one of the most unlikable main characters. And good animation for a mecha, i guess. I wouldn't know, the quality was very shitty to be honest.
