>overlord is waiting

"I like the big targets"

proseche?

what's even the point of "AG racing games" when F-Zero GX exists?

We RTS games have to stick together!

Based and RTS-pilled.
But I still play weeb games too. In fact, just today I played both a JP-only Vita tactics game and Brood War.

RTS is the genre i'm most sad about being dead.

fuck battle royale and fuck sTrEaMiNg

that's it im reinstalling generals today, hope it works on W10

I'm already playing the best RTS game ever made, C&C4: Tiberium Twilight.

Need something built... Or blown up?

RTS is genre that allready reached perfection, it ascended
oh sure you can create new game, but will it do anything better than other games outside of graphics, which most rts players dont even care about?
only thing thats left is to add new gimicks, which fans of genre will probably dislike and new players will be overhelmed

Why do you hate SC2?

What’s better, Red Alert 2 or Generals?

Yes.

is that a dude with huge honkers?

I prefer RA2.

personally i find the standarized, non-random competitive maps make the game feel like spittin' written whereas AoE, AoM, etc randomization makes each game feel new

I don’t user. SC2 is my one true love!

>Normie (noun): A newfag or r9k shithead that migrated out of his corner of the internet between 2015 and 2019.
FTFY normalfag

>DOTA and League, the games that "replaced" RTSs, are now "weeb"
>"Normies" now play "weeb" games, when "weeb" means a person obsessed with Japanese pop culture, whom is by definition not normal.
LEARN NEW WORDS YOU IGNORAMUS.

So I just beated Twisted insurrection.

is there anything else I should play along the command and conquer area?

I thought about Mental Omega

>Normie (noun):OP and his ilk, who shitposts looking for (you)s and upboats but never actually plays any fucking games.
FTFY

What are some wargames in the vein of War in the East? I wanna push some counters around
Yes I know there's a series literally called Wargame but those are more like big RTT maps instead of wargames

Twisted insurrection was tough man. I couldn't beat the campaign.

If you liked TI you'll like MO.

I recognise this! Age of Ethanol, right? I remember seeing it in the Comiket doujin compilation trailer many years ago.

Try harder scrubs

>Twisted insurrection was tough man. I couldn't beat the campaign.
It was hard, I didn't see much difference between easy and hard either. But yeah each mission takes between 30mins-2 hours.

Yeah. Great game. Godly music, good mechanics.
They even made a 3D sequel.

The only people that actually hate SC2 are trolls or mentally ill BWfags that didn't even play BW. 2 is an excellent game

>the last 4 gdi missions and last 3 nod missions
>the random stuff like nod 4B
Just fuck my shit up

Wasn't there also War in the West?

Oh yeah, I meant Wargames that aren't Matrix games
There's also War in the Pacific and dozens or hundreds of others for specific operations throughout history
Shit's nuts

Prostagma

Generals all the way for almost everything, though RA2 might be better competitively, which I haven't gotten into

>tfw you didn't have internet yet and you have a pirated copy of CC Generals from a friend but everything keeps exploding for no reason after 2 minutes and you dont know why
Anti Piracy used to be so cruel

>Anti Piracy used to be so cruel
>Sacred 1 had one that had a random chance to send you to an island and trap you there when you changed areas
>had no idea it was copy protection, just told all my friends the game is broken buggy dogshit and never played a Sacred game again

>though RA2 might be better competitively, which I haven't gotten into

Generals online scene is much more healthy and varied than RA2's.
RA2 is an amazing game, but despite its EA roots, it has the same bitch-basic tank spam MP and little in terms of balance as all C&C games prior to Generals.
