What's the worst game you've completed?

Bioshock Infinite

Uncharted. It started off kinda alright but even ignoring the QTEs and climbing the game itself is such a fucking boring slog with awful gunplay, AI, encounter design and story (and the jet ski jesus christ).

I only played it to get some background before I played Uncharted 2 which was also fucking terrible

"Completed" as in I got as far as you could before the game becomes impossible. Equipping armor is bugged and doesn't properly raise your defense. Even if you grind to the max level, late game enemies still one hit kill you. And there are 2d sections where damage is completely unavoidable.

Off the top of my head, there's the usual FF3
>job system is nice but imbalanced with most being useless late game
>plot being as bare bones as possible with villains appearing out of thin air with no intro
>the entirety of the last level
most of that can be excused in an old Famicom/NES game, but the DS version adds in more shit.
>adding job levels forcing even grind on the player
>job levels level differently than exp levels requiring more grind
>shrink dungeons will force job swaps, and more grind to get job levels to a remotely useful lv
>outright removing some dungeons
>max monsters in a fight reduced, but given multiple hits a turn is lame

I did a run of saving all the reploids for the sake of platinuming the second Legacy Collection. Every time after that I’ve tried to go back to it, I can’t even force myself to keep playing for more than 15 minutes at a time.

I make a habit to liberally drop games midway through if I'm not enjoying them, so a game has to be at least passable all the way through and then have some real bad shit sneak up on you during the finale to get me to finish a bad game. If it's dragging by the 1/2-3/4ths point with nothing notable to show for it there isn't a chance I'm going to beat it.

Owlboy is one such game. I've never seen a finale undermine a game's enjoyment harder.

finally finished Blood 2 the other day after around 20 years. That game is pretty horrible.

the controls as an interface to the experience were the icing on the cake, it was pretty entertaining though in the way really bad media can be i.e the room

potentially you might not realise the game was awful until hindsight or you might ride it out.
i finished RoN with a group of friends in a single sitting out of determination, similar to how i finished heavy rain which was a bad game in a similar vein

Got about 100 endings for Shadow The Hedgehog. FUCK THE ARK LEVELS.

Resident Evil 6. Mercenaries mode and the first chapter of Leon's campaign were pretty good, everything else was hot garbage. I discovered Ada's section had stealth sections and immediately uninstalled the piece of shit. I'm genuinely amazed and thankful Capcom managed to right the ship with 7 and the remake of 2.

I usually don't waste my time if game is bad. Usually only if it has co-op, because everything is at least moderately fun with it. Excluding co-op games, this one is probably it. It's not that bad of a game, just bad souls game. Too many frustrating elements.
