DoDonPachi Ressurection and Mushihimesama are pretty cool, Danmaku Unlimited 3 and Shikhondo are fun too, the latter partly for looking gorgeous as fuck. Astebreed is fun too, but it's far from standard, but you also get to pilot a mecha if you like that kinda thing.
I need to get back to playing Ikaruga, the start of stage 3 was fucking me up last time I played.

I think a lot of people have graphical issues or something.
That wasn't the case for me, however, sometimes, the game just doesn't fucking save your score. Like you see you're getting a new highschore, you die, you don't continue, you get back to the main screen, and fucking nothing happens. It's infuriating.

Literally dozens of them. There's a lot of Psykio games that I happen to be a fan of, but they're all very samey so if you don't like one you won't like the rest. Try Gunbird 1 or 2 maybe.

I started Danmaku Unlimited 3 on hard graze because I didn't want to play on the easier mode, and eventually swallowed my pride and dropped to hard spirit, and then just medium. Holy fuck am I glad I did, stages 4 and 5 have some fucking insane shit that I don't even want to imagine what it's like on the higher difficulties. Like I'm all for a challenge, but I can only take getting walled for so long ya know.
But I mean if you're having fun playing Einhander on hard, no reason to drop the difficulty just to beat it I'd say.
