They definitely could have gotten a better VA for a Southern accent, but its so hammy and over the top it fits in the DMC world like Arkham's overt dark brooding in tandem with Jesters playful dialogue, Agnus' stuttering autism from a Sicilian British Italian, and V's Gothy damaged Edgelord "deep" voice and poetry.
