Xenoblade, Splatoon, Monster Hunter, Mario x Rabbids, and Puyo Tetris are all fantastic titles with a variety of engaging gameplay, both single and multiplayer. Its easy to get thousands of hours off those alone. There's also the various Wii U ports like Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, Pokken, Hyrule Warriors, and Bayonetta. Lots of options depending on your tastes.

I would recommend Xenoblade Chronicles 2 but imo it took 50+ hours to fully enjoy the game. At that point battling becomes a fun challenge, story peaks and the characters become memorable.

this, and add to this list MK8, though if you had a WiiU then you'll probably have played a lot of these already

that's for a high end graphics card, which you do not need at all, it's luxury

the PS4 and Xbone got GTAV running at 30 fps at SUB-LOWEST settings, I don't think you can even render that on PC without modding the game, and with a 750ti you could already get 60 fps on PC, and that's back when GTAV was released to PC

console hardware was already garbage on release, and it's been 6 years, you can settle for a 1050ti or a 2060 and do just fine

Exploration is what you do in the game, but it's not an "objective". The game is fun because the movement is fun, various platforming challenges within the levels are fun, and exploration is fun. You trip over moons left and right, yeah, but the game isn't about getting moons. It's about having fun with the level design and the movement.
