I think I saw a girl in one screenshot.

Was she cute?

Dunno, I only saw her back. But probably.

hopefully not

Memehacki is a footfag who unironically found Gwynevere disgusting and only kept her in the game because he wanted his concept artist be happy. You'll never find something as good as Gwynevere in a From game again.

The Divine Heir is all you need.

Found it, on a second thought I'm not so sure it's a woman but it looks like she is.

Do shadows really die twice?

You're gay now, user. Congratulations.

We're all faggots anyway.

Great taste user. Kaname is heavenly.

why is their arm so thin

It's a mechanical arm.

It isn't yet. That's the scene just before the fight when it gets off.
It's not thin, it's normal. Not every action game protagonist is Hulk.

She looks so average...

I think that's a boy. The E3 trailer made it seem like it's the lord that the main character is trying to rescue from the rival clan.

Average can be good.

I'm referring to the girl, by the way.

It's a kid.

His master is an androgynous shota?

The doctor that upgrades your healing items seems pretty waifuable, if you have a thing for soft spoken Japanese women in kimonos. She shows up in some of the new gameplay videos.

>she
>girl
Kids definitely aren't modeled after Hulk either.

Think of the porn.

I don't think anyone knows shit about this game yet.
Aside from you having an Astro boy arm.

Where does this come from ?

That's the impression I got from the trailer. We can see him running away right before Sekiro loses his arm near the beginning. We then get the part about "your master still lives" and we see Sekiro bowing before him.

I mean it's not 100% confirmed, but all signs point to it being an androgynous shota, yes.

Japan.

You can do stealth kills. That's cool, I hope it's more than just one-shoting the first guy in an encounter.

Someone beat me to it see

>Emma
Is that a common name in medieval Japan?

>that feel when you resurrect too many times and she dies from dragonrot
I'm not ready for these feels.

I heard you can buy items that stops it.

There's some foreign characters like this guy, maybe she's one of them.

Attached: westernsteel.jpg (1216x838, 120K)

I found one.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emma_Miyazawa
Her dad is american and her name written in katakana so it's not a japanese name.

Attached: proxy.duckduckgo.com.jpg (240x320, 37K)

Nobody seems to actually die from Dragonrot, do they? They just get ill and cough. She's like your only way to upgrade not-Estus flask. No way they'd just kill her off like that. Not until the end of the game.

I think thats a child
Which suits me just fine

She doesn't look really foreign.

That's the name of the King of Hell in Japanese legend iirc.

The game is a homage to Dororo among other things, i will be very surprised if it's actually a boy.

They said dragonrot can kill apparently. Maybe she isn't the only way to upgrade your stuff.

Are there are any smug himes?

It's Emma-ō, not just Emma.

I wonder if there will be a limited amount? Knowing From, probably. If they end up making all the characters likable, it could be pretty rough deciding on who lives.

>All afflicted.
So you won't have to choose who lives or not.

No, it it stated that it's lethal. You can reverse it with a rare item but still, the game punishes you for playing like shit both mechanically and morally as your supporters literally fall ill from your shit play.
It's such a fantastic idea.

Steiner?

I thought it was ENma with an N

See It heals everybody.

That seems awfully forgiving. There has to be some terrible catch

I mean lung cancer doesn't kill you instantly. It's lethal, but it doesn't mean it will happen over the course of the game.

The item is super limited since you can buy it only from a guy trading with his own rare currency, and he also has other fantastic items for sale like techs.

There's no "m" letter in Japanese, they use "n" instead, when they need to transcribe a singular "m" sound.

閻魔王 the pronunciation is a bit weird so it's sometime written as Emma but more often you'll see Enma.

You can buy it from a trader for the drops off a rare enemy that seems to be an equivalent of Souls' crystal lizards.

>literally iosefka 2.0 who clearly knows a lot about the setting and hides shit from you

I don't think anyone's hiding anything (well, not anything, I mean much) from the protagonist. It's just the player who is clueless.
Apparently Emma is an apprentice of a "legendary" doctor Dogen, who is namedropped a lot in the item descriptions.

Ah okay, well that makes sense. I'm assuming they die if we wait too long to use it? Since if they only die during the ending, it'd be easy to just hoard a single one, and use it right before the final boss.

When the game even takes place? She may be a descendant of japanese christians who gave her this name.

From game design perspective, it's unlikely.
Punishing the player for dying a lot by killing off the only NPC who can upgrade their healing item is a bit too much. I think Dragonrot will have mostly story consequences rather than affect gameplay directly.

It's not also that, if they're too sick, you'll miss on items they give, techs, stuff they say and maybe even more like quests.

Sengoku era Japan (fictional), so
>The Sengoku period (戦国時代 Sengoku Jidai, "Age of Warring States"; c. 1467 – c. 1600)

>Punishing the player for dying a lot by killing off the only NPC who can upgrade their healing item is a bit too much.
You're probably right. Then again, there was a certain character in Demon's Souls that would kill off vendors if you waited too long to kill him. With From, you can never really be too sure.

Protagonist just seem to be very calm and reserved.
He clearly knew nothing about the Dragonrot unlike Emma who seems to know a lot.

the m isnt at the end of the word, numbnuts
えっま is emma
えんま is enma

they're asian
