For starter's its "Play time's" as in "play time is" not "multiple play times," and then the image is supposed to convey kinetic-action-immediacy and yet there is a random ellipses ".,." in the middle of it, suggesting the operator paused for a good couple seconds between "play time's" and "over" giving up the element of surprise and ruining the audience's suspension of belief

Not every comm is same, artists often offer sketch/ lineart/ flat colours/ full render/ everything+background which also increases in price and time required by number of characters/animals in the image. That being said, I don't do comms but it would take me 2-5 days of work for something more complex. When I draw for the theads I just procrastrinate a ton anyway.

The act of learning how to draw is drawing from reference until you know how to solve problems. When you run into a problem (like hands or feet or whatever.) instead of hiding it or dropping the drawing, break out a reference and study. Drawing from reference you will learn how to break these features down into basic shapes, and how to recognize them from the more abstract lines you make when sketching.
Also this is a given, but it really took me way too long to get this through my thick skull. Sketches are not a final piece and are used to figure out just what you want or practice things you want to brush up on. They are not supposed to look good. The worst thing you can do when learning how to draw is becoming afraid of drawing.
