the ps4/xbone/steam version yes, the ps360 version had a bunch of bugs they never patched
dmc1 and 2 are better, dmc3 is missing a few very minor things but has mods if you get it on pc so its still probably better.

if you care about graphics the ps3 version is the least fucked up the 360, pc and next gen ports all fucked up the graphics. However the ps3 version the kalinna ann from dmc3 has one move that is bugged which is fixed in the pc and next gen ports as well as each costume in dmc3 having unique taunts which again was an issue in the 360 and ps3 ports.

some of my favorite graphical effects from 1 were broken in the hd collections. there are also some audio issues. new players probably won't notice either and will enjoy the games anyway, but i think playing the originals is still the best choice.

I'm playing the PC version and honestly, while I'm enjoying it so much, the HD is bullcrap in this game.
They improved the textures a bit, but all three games still look like the PS2 games on PCSX2.
The FMVs in DMC3 are still the same, very ugly.
