This, I didn't care for the character due to the poor delivery. Any ideas on who they should have gotten for the characters in the English dub instead? I think Revali, Daruk, and Urbosa were fine but didn't care for Zelda or Mipha and most of the others were just okay for me

I switched the language to Japanese and pretended VO scenes were like Ghibli films. Zelda's Japanese voice actor is a thousand times better than the US version. The King, Mipha, Daruk, Deku Tree and most tohers are equal in either language. The only American voice I prefer is Revali.

it feels like Nintendo's localization team did not give a single shit about any games dub at the beginning of the Switch's life. Xenoblade 2 was also notoriously low quality at least when you compare it to Xenoblade 1 which was literally released half a decade ago as a niche Wii title. that being said, I could at least excuse Xenoblade 2 because again, it's a niche series. but when it came to Zelda and I heard the way Zelda's voice actor delivered her lines I was just fucking baffled at how little weight all of her lines had (especially with that weird fucking regal british voice).
