However within 15 min of him signing the contract, he fucking posts on the forums about it instantly breaking the Non-Disclosure Agreement he signed voiding the contract and forcing Lab Zero to remove Juju from the game entirely

I mean, at least atomic was just one translator messing up (then again, he misinterpreted クリキング (King Goomba's jap name) as King Chestnut so they probably didn't get the memos they needed. Same with the "Sky-blue Pipe which should have been Sky-blue Spiny Egg). Atomic Boo was always Big Boo everywhere else and King Boo is another character entirely. This one just doesn't make any sense.

It was probably just different people who had no idea the characters already had a translated name in other games. They just go through translating everything, reach a name, and think up some sort of pun for it.
You’d think they’d have a continuity checked or something, but that isn’t something Nintendo cared about until very recently. Even now, they treat continuity more like a meme than an actual thing.
