Tarkov looks pretty good and feels alright but I’d only want to play offline atm. Playing as a scav and loading in and getting shot by another scav player was a bummer. Then I tried the group finder and was invited to a group but they killed my scantily-clad PMC as soon as we spawned in. (Thankfully I assumed this would happen and I only brought a few bare essentials and a pistol.). Playing offline with the bots and their aim was pretty fun but you can’t get new stuff that way or level up (understandably).

Yeah that's understandable. It's a rough game to be new at. You pretty much have to be ready to just eat shit for a couple weeks straight while you learn the maps, how people play, ammo/armor values, etc. It's a lot of shit to learn, and the game doesn't really help you learn any of it.

Maximilian just uploaded his DMC5 initial thoughts review and said it was one of the best Capcom games of all time, and he's not even a super huge DMC fan.
Is he right? I think it's easily the best game in the series. I have zero legitimate complaints with the game, aside from the fact that I can't turn off the damn blur on the side of the screen when you sprint. Aside from that, the game is quite possibly perfect.

the photo mode cheat-engine script for RE2 that puts the game at like 1% speed while you freecam-move the camera is a way better photo mode system than any official one I have used, where you always have to pause the game for each photo. You run it at like 35% speed between when you "pause" it 1% speed to find the most photogenic part of the animation
