I was able to beat prologue Urizen on DH and SOS, and I'm now starting on DMD with no abilities (bought the game this morning)

Any tips I should take into mind before proceeding?

They're vulnerable from the back, but take most damage when you hit the mask. Helter Skeltal is a good devil arm for dealing with them

I'll use them in my third playthrough as I'm still enjoying the regular cutscenes

that happens even if you don't use DT, the breaker upgrades the normal wire too

Finished Secret Mission

Need to clear: Human, DH, SOS. (Skipped to DMD mode)
Need to all S DMD (Have some B/As need to fix) I phoned it in on Dante vs Vergil, used 2 GOrbs.
Mastered DSD and most weapons.

Trying to figure out a better control scheme for dante so I can hold KC's Triangle while jump canceling a previous forward triangle attack so i can connect f+triange into CHARGED F+Triangle
Need to figure out a better control scheme for Nero so I can punch things with DB effectively, maybe I'll set R2 to Blue Rose.

Need to farm orbs and spend on Nero/V. Kinda horded them for Dante. Nero only has the bare essentials. (Like what you had in the Demo, + Snatch upgrades) I don't use Bringers outside GP01 really.

When playing Nero, I never blow up my devil arm because I am a hoarder and don't want to spend on items especially in DMC where past games have ingrained me to never use a consumable item.

KA Twins have unique moves where they pair together. One is pretty much the charged Gebera (ground) breaker attack and the other is pandora's fuck you beam

urizen is relatively easy to kill if you bring a bunch of punchlines/helter skelters and use their charged up attacks

They're cheap and plentiful in the maps. Break them on a regular basis so you can switch to other ones.

What am I missing during the Nidhogg fight? I have no problems wrecking shit with V in any other scenario but no matter what, it seems Shadow just keeps teleporting back to me and won't attack the heads properly. The targeting seems all fucked up too, like I can't get the lock-on to switch to the head I want to attack. The whole fight just feels like a fucking chore to complete.

This scene was a real Thriller, but when i Beat It the game, i knew how that scene was important. Today game industry, They Don't Care About Us, and that scene made me belive that there is still hope. And that Dante is a Smooth Criminal

First time I beat the last mission my game froze up at the end of the credits. Upon subsequent replay I got the achievements and properly "beat" the game but I still have not gotten either cutscene

You could replay Mission 20, it's an easy bossfight

Nope, he works like V and Nero on their first missions, gotta wait until you reach the first goddess statue, i guess it's done that way for newcomers so they don't get overwhelmed by the massive moveset Dante has at it's disposal

The game decreases from SSS much faster, you gotta constantly be doing shit once you reach it with little to no interruption between your attacks, it doesnt really matter much though, the meter is mostly there just a small guidance, what it matters is that the combo looks cool and stylish in your eyes, you can easily cheese to get to SSS.

Depends on the character.
For Nero: Use your Breakers
For V: Read your book, mix your moves up, actually use Griffon and cane the enemies as soon as they turn white.
For Dante: Mix your weapons and moves up.

I felt Nero is the extra in this one, this definitively becomes Dante's game the moment he wakes up, then they remembered that Nero was supposed to be the poster boy just before the final mission

Yamato splits the demon from the human, Rebellion joins the demon to the human. It's basically Dante finally accepting his demonic heritage (whereas Yamato helped Vergil discard his human heritage)

Between Vergil and Dante, yeah. I guess it did escalate near the end of DMC5. They really seemed ready to off each other but Nero calmed them down.

I think you need to clear DMD to be able to remove them from your equipment. You can still swap swords after clearing on any difficulty though

Surprised nobody mentioned this but if you just use E&B and shoot them while they are charging their spin it keeps them spinning in place, then just keep shooting while moving to their side and stinger them. This will usually break their spikes and give you a lot of style.

He adapts to your shit, so use a variety of weapons. I used the nunchucks, sword, and gloveboots. Spend your DT on SDT, but hold it until he DTs. I find Royal Guard easy enough to use against him, but recommend being in Trickster and just dodging if he is in DT and you aren't. Dodge into his dives. As you get more comfortable with his DT, there is a lot you can punish.

I don't know what this counter is, but sometimes he would just instantly dash at me and I'd get stabbed. My winning runs on that are times where that doesn't happen too much and I kill him fast.

Vergil would probably kick her out stonefaced.

Microsynth Lattice (Card 2) makes all permanents in play Artifacts on top of everything else they are.
Bludgeon Brawl (Card 4) turns all Artifacts that aren't creatures nor equipment into a version of equipment.

Equipment are a kind of artifact that you can "equip" to creature cards to increase their performance.

Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker (Card 3) isn't a creature card so Microsynth Lattice will turn him into an artifact and then Bludgeon Brawl will turn him into a piece of equipment as well. Since Nicol Bolas (Card 1) is a creature that means you can then equip Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker onto Nicol Bolas. So you have Nicol Bolas swinging Nicol Bolas around as a weapon.
