If you had an extra $1000/mo to spend on whatever you like, would your gaming habits change? If so, how?

yeah I'd play less games and use 100$ of it to buy lego

No, I'm restricted by time, not money. I could buy even more games, sure, but that doesn't mean I'll actually be able to play them.

it would probably end my gaming forever...or at least as much where I can only play games casually, which is fine by me.

more gatcha pulls

>would your gaming habits change?
Depends on what they price them at when they take everyone’s free stack a month into account

I'd likely travel more, eat out more, and do more things with my time than play video games. I might end up buying games more often but wouldn't change much.

I'd pay off my truck first then my insurance rate would go down then I'd have even more money to spend on games monthly.

I clicked this thread just because I saw the red border on the catalog. Damn you, 4chanX.

UBI is a shit answer to a problem that hasn't even manifested yet.

BANKS

I wouldn't have to work a second job and could play games more. I generally don't play single player games because I don't have enough time to get into them.

No, I'd just play the same stuff. Even after I spent $800 on a non BR-tier PC I rarely make use of the increased capabilities. I'd probably spend the money on actual hobbies or commissioning art.

>commissioning art.
If I wasn't a huge poorfag this is what I'd probably do with my extra income.

I'd buy all the Switch games I have been wanting to buy. the reason I haven't bought them now even though I can is because Switch games are always full price.

this
we should only have ubi after we start taxing capital gains to fund ubi

I have more than an extra $1000 left over each month.
I save most of it for a down payment on a house.
A few times a year I treat myself like the new desk, chair and drawing monitor that I bought.

I play less video games now.

I already pirate all my games, the only exception is the rare DRM free physical release that PC gets and sometimes I buy a physical copy off of ebay of an old game I pirated if I like it enough. Fuck paying for a download.

your place looks pretty cozy for a single (?) person
you in a high rise or low rise?

I would probably quit my job and get a part time job and spend the same amount on Vidya.

I am on the top floor.
Screw having someone above me stomping around.
I wonder what the people below think of my buttkicker LFE under my couch. That thing can shake the windows.

>would your gaming habits change
no, because i would still wait for the version of games that come with all the dlc/fixes/patches/season pass shit that comes later for a fraction the price which i can already easily afford. not only do i pay less for games i enjoy them more because they're not proper fucked broken like they are on release. id just put the extra money into my portfolio and let it grow.

I’d spend 999 of it on dokkan and 1p on pic and mix.

name them

what do you do for work user?

Draw furry porn.

Already claimed him.

I was thinking of ultra-budgeting for a house outside the city, can easily save about £1k p/year. Worth it?

I would save up the $1000/mo for two months so I could buy a new computer so I can actually play vidya with my friends again.

Not out of college yet so it's just a low wage job.
I drive forklifts and operate some of the machinery our company uses.

Not a very large company. The company makes around a million a day.

The wage is low but I always work the same 8 hour shift (Mon-Fri) with paid lunch time and if I have to work an overtime Saturday they provide the food for lunch.

Also get a bonus every month and a company 401k plan.

stop shilling the yang shit. It will never work because people just won't ever work if they got paid 1k for free. Society will collapse.

I'd save that shit, buy some property, build a metal mass storage unit with heating and air filtration. Rent it out to musicians/skaters/hooligans/travellers on the cheap for passive income. I have it all planned out in my head. If I can boost my income by even a few hundred I could start making moves.

Based stele poster

Not sure where you can find a house that cheap...

Where I live even the cheapest dinky homes are over $200k.

I would put it into Magic the Gathering, so yeah it would change, I would actually play standard instead of draft.

I would still pirate everything

I'd buy a gun and shoot Yang, pinko.

go back to /r9k/

Mine wouldn't. I'd just work faster toward paying off my student loans. Then, I'd work on an emergency fund that can handle 3-6 months worth of expenses.

I would continue to pirate all my games

Use it to live off of because the cost of living would skyrocket if everyone got 1k a month for nothing.

>t. bootlicker who thinks he's going to the one to "make it"

is this what incels really think

you can't live off 1k a month

Out of the last 10 games I've bought, half of them I never even took out of the plastic wrap and the other half I only played maybe 1-2 hours. So probably not.

Based, fuck paying for a download

Are you...retarded?

Holy fucking based

That's barely half of what someone would make working minimum wage full time.

>I save most of it for a down payment on a house.
It would be smarter to build your own

Nah, if anything I would play games even less often

be honest Yea Forums you’d spend it all on hrt and dragon dildos

Nah, I'd probably finally just get around to building my dream gaming PC/VR rig then work on a small retro collection.
But that would all cost around 2-3k.
After that I'd just save and invest what I get from then on in something like gold, cash, and foreign markets.

I'd spend it on bullets so I can go shooting more often

I still wouldn't pay for video games lmao *dab*

Gaming is not really that expensive desu. I would immediately move from my home and rent a fancy apartment. I'd ask my 2 best friends to come live with me (they'd pay their part of the rent) because that would be really comfy. Also, I'd work part-time. That would allow me to invest more time on my hobbies while not being a NEET.

I do this already kek

>Spent years working to get into Vidya industry
>Decide to pick a niche thats easier to get jobs in
>End up getting a job doing exactly that on a AAA production
>Fuck yes this is awesome
>Fast forward five months
>I realize I hate what I do
>My boss is a fucking loon who keeps changing specks constantly and is prone to chewing people out
>Now I sit during the weekend and dread going to work

I'm honestly almost ready to say fuck it, there is nothing I find compelling about what I do anymore

Attached: PWifOnly.gif (400x400, 204K)

i would buy 2 games if there is something and spend the rest on hookers because fucking some gurls without bothering about the relationship garbage is godtier hobby

Attached: 1551942401571.gif (181x292, 2M)

I make is 7.45/hr, work 38hrs a week, and my paycheck is 442.02 every two weeks.

I'd use it to save up for holidays or rent or something. I'm fine with my gaming costs the now. If I need anything I'd dip from a saving

The only proper answer is to invest it.

That sounds terrible. I'm sorry user.

I would use them one of them fancy VR headsets for all my games

I realized I'd only want to work on the vidya industry if I got to be something cool like level designer/scenario writer/whatever. It must be horrible having to program things you know they just suck. At least you work on something that many people will enjoy, and it's kinda rewarding I guess.

I already buy all the video games I want, I'd buy a house immediately though

Well that would raise my income to $1000 a month total so I would move out of my parents house into a cheap 1 bedroom apartment.
