Too many h games suffer from conflicting goals. The player wants to jerk it, but a player also wants to win. To get the h content you typically have to lose or be penalized. And if you play well, you are rewarded with nothing. These games need to go away from this and reward playing well with the content.

Trap quest is a game that seems to actively punish the player for turning your character into a dumb bimbo despite it being the goal of the player and "the game" in the game. If the goal is to become a big dumb bimbo, the player's actions should be rewarded for it. Finishing the game with limited to no bimbo changes should also reward the player in some capacity maybe allowing for alternative new game plus features.

Brainlet please. You can still make different games. The issue with Patreon funded games and shitting out a new playable version every month is that you're working with an inefficient workcycle.
Usually you make the overall structure (with porn games it's the plot), then you make everything work and lastly you make the art and sound. But since everyone has a different shitty opinion which character should get content next, they make a bit of story, art in a limited time, then after they released the newest content, they go back making a bit of story and art instead of finishing story/paths completely first and then the art.
