Tips for Vergil?

Yeah I kinda wish I could turn off kick mode, I always switch to it on accident and the targeting system doesn't always make getting back easy.

It's a mixture of lingering will from being tied to V's psyche, a loyalty to defend him, them being personification of Neo's memories, pride and a bitterness for the ass kicking Dante gave them with the formers taking more precedence.

As Dante? I literally had nothing else to learn because I already had taken the beating of my life in DMC3's finale so I knew to wait for him too calm the fuck down and dodge his attack by jumping and rolling.
Use RG to fuck his flight attack and DT when you get grabbed I guess.

Royalguard everything, when he's in DT. Run away and dodge until he turns back. Rinse and repeat

You can find the Kalina Ann lady lost in one of Dante's missions. When you get KA2 you dual wield them.

Don't use sin DT, save normal DT for regen and use 2 swords at most, you can jump away from everything if you don't want to royal guard.

Dodge his attacks, then stinger into him and combo for a bit. When he powers up dodge like a mad man. You can break his Circle Swords with regular hits when he summons them around you and his stand dies pretty easily.

RG handles the first phase super easily. Run when he DT, mainly use Trickster in every other phase since missing RG punishes you super hard

You can use RG in the later phases too, you just shouldn't risk it with his judgement cut since he does it multiple times.
