>DLC bundles. Can't even buy DLC individually, pay the $20 upfront for the whole package or don't get it at all
name one
>Release incomplete barebones games at full price or near that, then promise it'll have free DLC, but actually already have paid DLC through Amiibos and later on normal paid DLC (the latest Kirby game, Splatoon, Arms, etc). Knowing fully well 80% of people won't care about content that comes 8 months after release nearly as much as they would if it came with the game's launch
amiibos aren't required for the game and in fact almost always just add a cute little skin or something, never actual content
>Release 2 versions of a game, removing that last 5% of content from each version and making it exclusive to the other - see Pokemon and Fire Emblem. Then also occasionally release a 3rd version with all content.
fair enough
>Physical overpriced $13 DLC with shoddy releases that mostly get sold out and can't be consistently sought out on release and get scalped (Amiibos)
again, never bought an amiibo and will never need to. they're shitty toys for kids that have the added bonus of unlocking a skin in a game.
>Mobile Cancer. FE, Animal Crossing, PokemonGo, with no signs of stopping (Sony also delves into it to be fair - namely Fate). With mobile cancer already influencing a main console release
doesn't affect main releases
>Very mediocre games, Mario Party, Mario Tennis, Kirby, SF Zero, etc. Almost as many misses as hits.
mario party, mario tennis, and kirby are all good games.
>Again, I don't give a shit about Sony's cinematic shit, but it's undeniable their products are of a better quality overall if you're into them, and their business practices are better.
>better quality overall
