>tight mechanics and excellent gunplay
>huge amount of options in combat
>diverse enemies and scenarios
>mutiple well realized campaigns
>full of good fucking content in general
why is this game hated but RE4 loved? sure it's not as good as 4 but the gameplay is just so fun and enjoyable. best third person shooter of last generation imo.
Resident Evil 6

Cause you kick fucking zombies in the face like Chuck Norris, fag
Well it's a good thing your opinion doesn't matter
And in 4 you suplex them.
There weren't any in 4
Been playing it for the last couple weeks after getting tired of 2make. Once I got the hang of the controls it became pretty cash. Ada's campaign is the worst though closely followed by Leon. Chris and Jakes campaigns are the best.
You can suplex the monks.
Because people are dumb and have no taste, really. The amount of vitriol RE6 can still muster at the mere utterance of those three syllables is astounding. It's an enjoyable, fluid, high dollar action romp. It's wonderful to behold just how far it goes.
this is one of the worst games i've completed
monks aren't zombies
It's also the closest we'll ever get to Left 4 Dead 3.
You've made this thread before. RE6 isn't a complete turd but it's a mediocre game.
I still can't unsee the giraffe forcing a guy to suck him off
It's been like 7 years why does it not go away
why?
Wonder if people had liked it more if it was a spin off, maybe this be the first revelations.
RE6 has worse textures than RE5
Always thought that was weird and wonder why that is.
Giraffe blowjob
I'm with you OP, I adore RE6, but RE4 is just on a whole other level
RE4 is a much tighter, leaner, and more inspired game. It also manages to pull off horror sincerely, whereas RE6 merely dabbles with it now and then.
The campaign was bloated, terrible fucking horse shit.
So many "bosses" where you have no indication of whether to just avoid them until a timer runs down, or empty your ammo into it. The game never fucking tells you or even clues you in.
>So many "bosses" where you have no indication of whether to just avoid them until a timer runs down, or empty your ammo into it.
Some bosses are on a timer, but that time is reduced if you damage it. This is a mechanic that has been consistent with RE since day one. The very first game had it. RE2make has it.
Because not enough tight awesome combat and too much running toward the screen.
It certainly has the best mercenaires.
RE6 is great. The bitching is either bandwagoning memers or people that want all games in a series to be the same genre.
I wouldn't have blamed Leon for just beating the shit out of her for always doing that shit.
At least she was hot.
whoa Capcom wtf!?!? v problematic
Peak enemy design.
Probably the game had been developed for PS4 but had to be released for PS3 in the end
6 is unironically my favourite RE. I still want a real RE7 featuring Jake and Sherry
Shit you can even give it to Platinum games to make if its Jake
Wish you could play Agent in the single player Ada campaign.
Which game has best Ada?
Giraffe.
It was ugly as sin, gameplay felt like absolute arse and the story/theme/feel of it was just a continuation of 5 (on yet more steroids) so wasn't even remotely enjoyable.
The biggest issue was that it was just straight up shit feeling to play.
It was an upgrade to MT framework which allowed much more sophisticated lighting techniques and graphic effects over games before it but it absolutely nuked the RAM, meaning far less space for textures. Dragon's Dogma used it as well.
6 definitely
>gameplay felt like absolute arse
gay
6 because she doesnt look asian in it
RE6 is fine as a coop, action game. It isn't fine as a horror game. Also Ada deserves worse than death.
The controls for this game were utter ass.
>dodging that never works because you get hung up on ANYTHING
>you stick to every corner/cover like they have magnets
>playing dead zombies that are immortal and force you to take damage to proceed
RE4 was trying to be scary? What? Fuck no, it wasn't scary in the slightest. There's no way it was trying to be a horror game.
You guys are just bad at playing. Practice more.
>Practice more.
shame the game doesn't allow that
>inb4 Mercenaries mode
It's designed differently from the main game
I also forgot to mention QTEs everywhere
I had more fun playing RE6 co-op than either RE2R or RE7. There are some shit sections but at least it's varied, you can disable the annoying QTEs, it looks pretty good (better faces than RE Engine) and it runs great as well.
Whether you found 4 scary or not is completely subjective, but the game was definitely courting a horror vibe
the upgrade system is limited and not interesting, the collectibles in each campaign are generic and their rewards are either more points towards said generic upgrade system or concept art, which is not a particularly engaging reward to me
I like 6 but that is my major gripe with the game for me. At least some different costumes for the campaign would haver been nice, especially since they exist for mercenaires. Wonder why they weren't included considering alternate costumes were always a thing in resident evil.
If it has to be skills instead of weapon upgrades like 4 and 5 it would have been at least nice to be able to equip more than 3.
>Jake and Chris's campaigns are the best, Leon's was the worst
Good God, all of that shit taste in a single post
>well realized campaigns
>full of good fucking content
>excellent gunplay
The gameplay was fantastic. It was great as a pure action game.
