It's that simple
It's that simple
A "strong" female character is one that can pretend to love your pathetic ass for material gain
>strong female character that tries to be feminine but can't and gets embarrassed
This. Tomboys are overrated and are shit.
FUCK FROGPOSTERS
A "strong" female character can manipulate social hierarchies to get people to backstab each other while appearing absolutely blameless and untouchable the whole time
>strong
>female
This combination is always dogshit, there is no such thing as a badass female. You need to come to terms with this already for fuck sake.
This is why I prefer Japanese games to Western games. Western women are just men with vagina, and it's disgusting.
But tomboys as they are in anime fit the second description to a T.
better :
>create character with a backstory and a personality
>roll dices at the end to apply skin color and gender
t. only consumes western media
based
>aggresive and bitchy
Lmao no
Japan is no different for this shit you stupid fucking weeb.
Tsundere != tomboy
>Implying they all aren't
Shut up, faggot frogposter
As long as feminine doesn't mean "Gets embarrassed about something retarded" then I'm all good.
SEETHING
>he doesn't like an "ehh tooooooo, eh toooo *thump thump*" girl
you can like more than one type of girl you dumbass
This lad has admitted to finding attraction in more masculine traits. That's gay.
patrician
Gonna use that
>never talked
>had no real depth character wise so it left to your imagination
>for all intents and purposes could have been replaced with a man model and make no difference
Hate to break it to you, bud. But Lara Croft is probably the worst example you could use to defend "strong womyn" characters.
Precisely why alita > captain iron jaw
For me, it's Velvet
Has male qualities related to strength such as determination, leadership and stoicism but also not just retains her feminine traits but they are what compel her throughout the game, she's literally on a quest to be the best big sister she can be and protect her avenge brother.
>Do this
>Always roll masculine black men and feminine white men
FUCK
>Never talked
...what?
What the fuck are you talking about?
The problem with this is you can't plan around gender or race, which good storytelling isn't agnostic towards.
>never talked, had no real depth character wise so it left to your imagination
isn't Doomguy literally the same, yet circlejerked as the most badass character ever?
I doubt showing feelings is necessary for a character to be cool. Lara has a presentation of coming off as agile, skilled, confident, etc. making her feel quite badass.
what the fuck is this thread
you mean this in the japanese way of "strong female characters should still be cute" or in the feminist way of "strong female characters have to represent the current typical female personality attributes, even if those are literally the opposite of strong attributes"?
>>never talked
Have you ever played, or in the zoomer case, watched one of the old TR games?
>had no real depth character wise so it left to your imagination
So you haven't good to know.
>for all intents and purposes could have been replaced with a man model and make no difference
Which they tried at one point and everyone hated it.
Yes you can, by making anyone the target of racial or gender discrimination
If you're talking about a creative writing exercise I could see that being a fun way to experiment, but if you're actually trying to tell a compelling story I can't see it working out too well. As I would expect if any part of your story was determined by random chance.
Nope. Because in reality there is nothing as a strong woman. Either physically or mentally.
This is honestly terrible
That's why we should depict them in fiction so they can exist with other makebelieve animals like dragons and unicorns.
>word word word word word word word word word
cringe
>Strong female character never actually takes her helmet off
>Ever
