And I'm sure it's because of no steam...
Jesus fucking christ i'm so tired of these obvious ad-pieces
Isaiah Kelly
Good
Fuck steam
Nathaniel Martinez
I honestly hope every western AAA game fails, until normals finally learn to stop pre-ordering shit.
Cooper Lopez
>Anthem huge letdown
>loot shooter whores need a new fix
I think being on Steam would of actually helped
Thomas Adams
Should I buy it?
I wanted something like first guild wars and dragons dogma online so bought anthem, but didn't liked it.
And division feels like too American for my tastes
Colton Jones
Implessive, no one buy game on ching ching epic storefront. Imagine being so despised people buy shit on uplay before youes lol.
Jack Wilson
>I wanted something like first guild wars
Don't we all esl...
Mason Scott
I pre-ordered the PS4 version though.
Camden Johnson
I preordered my copy. I had a lot of fun in the beta.
Luis Green
I wonder how many bottles of champagne were popped at Ubisoft on Anthem's release.
Imagine having competition that incompetent.
Benjamin Phillips
Stop spamming this thread every day you fag.
John Moore
How is game play, tell me
Landon Ramirez
Except Western AAA games are far more successful today than 10 years ago. The in-game micro transactions do not require paying stores a cut of the profit.
Josiah Hughes
Pretty similar to the first game, but improved. Controls and shooting just feel better. I enjoyed the first game, it just had a meh launch because end game wasn't fleshed out, but Division 2 isn't making the same mistakes. The end game looks really good, there's a lot of content at launch, unlike Destiny 2 and Anthem.
Liam Evans
Haha Dr. Disrespect my dudes XD
Julian Long
Do all the AMD promotion keys count into that? You can hardly AMD hardware at the moment, at least in Europe, without getting The Division™ 2 for free* with your purchase.
Elijah Williams
Not him, but the gameplay holds up very well without the loot carrot. A lot of teamplay can be used, so if you're playing with friends instead of randos it's exponentially more fun. Game balances well for party size, too. Instead of turning the enemies into bullet sponges, more players means more enemies thrown at you.
Charles Lee
who /ultimateedition/ here?
Nicholas Flores
Hello.
Kayden Jackson
Why do you keep spamming these threads you brain fucked autist?
Eli Peterson
haha my dude
William Murphy
Certainly had nothing to do with EGS either. Maybe, just maybe: The open beta ran well for most people and the promise of a decent amount of non-stronghold end-game activities means they know they will have a lot of content to keep them busy unlike Anthem?
Sebastian Davis
The same could be said about Anthem before that, however.
PS: Are there any clans formed for TD2 yet?
Adrian Thompson
EPIC WINS AGAIN BABY
Benjamin Ortiz
It's because ubisoft is giving away a few game with a preorder. The game is so shitty they have to entice people with a different one. This has nothing to do with steam or that chink malware.
Gavin Taylor
I bought in on Uplay
No bully, my stupid friend doesn't want to play any other coop games so I gave in
Lincoln Kelly
TD1 didn't launch on Steam either so your comparison is shit, Tencent shill.
Josiah Wilson
why can't the game be on both stores?
Hunter Baker
cope harder
Leo Rogers
>It already has more preorders.
I don't think its a good thing to be proud of topping 5 preorders.
Zachary Jackson
Nah, steam has reviews on the store page which would deter people from further giving them money for a shitty game.
Angel Torres
Are you a legit steam shill or are you just having brain damage since your memory doesn't work? They even released Division movies on steam.
Colton Brooks
It's rather pointless to buy it anywhere but Uplay or a digital reseller like GMG that activates on Uplay. It has to launch Uplay either way.
Personally, I just bought it thru GMG for 12% off since the Ubi 20% vouchers don't work for pre-orders/new releases in the US.
Benjamin Lee
Because steam pays people not to put their games on competing platf- oh wait they don't, unlike epic.
Robert Myers
Wasn't The Division 1 their most pre ordered game back then?
Xavier Long
Why not ditch both and buy it on the Ubisoft store? You're forced to use their client anyway.
Andrew Jackson
>stronk wahmen lead
>token nigger
Who the fuck is buying these games, where are these people?
Adam Watson
i usually buy keys on keysites because its cheaper but Ubi now really nailed with that -20% for me and they even get the money straight, keysites cant match that price
Blake Cook
shhh,don't destroy his narrative.
Adrian Murphy
too bad he disrespects his wife.
Leo Jackson
is this not suppose to be parody?
Asher Ward
>believing the trash journo's spout out
They have no idea how it's doing, they don't check the validity of anything they write, they just write shit for the sake of retards like OP clicking on it.
Ryder Miller
As I said, that doesn't work for those of us in the US. I looked into it, but the website specifically said it couldn't be used for pre-orders or any game less than 3mos old. So I went with the 12% off from Greenman. 20% off Uplay vouchers only work if you're overseas like the UK or such.
Benjamin White
>Judging a game by its cover
Imagine being this shallow.
Grayson Fisher
cant you just use a vpn or let a EU friend(if you have one) login and buy it?
Elijah Young
>Most preordered game.
>Narrative.
thats cute, nobody preordered it, Ubisoft even had stupid journalist shit complaining nobody was playing it on PC, and then, nobody was playing it on console either and people hated it.
Womp womp, lots of promises, and Ubisoft delivered on none, who would have thought they where all bluster and no balls.
Get it, cause the dev teams at Ubisoft are women.
Brayden Johnson
Do they even make the distinction between which platforms are selling how much?
Christian White
Of course not.
By the way what gun is that?
Brandon Scott
maybe because it´s now an established ip you cocksucker? steam literally has nothing to do with it.
Owen Flores
hi, redner grouo
therednergroup.com/
Alexander Morgan
more of the same but a lot of little improvements. my favourite change is that higher difficulties acually change enemy types and behaviour.
also they really tried to save the first game and never abandoned it, this instilled quite a bit of faith in the userbase.
Colton Young
only because i got it 20% off and actually bought all the dlc from the last game. i´ll get my good 100+ hours out of it and thats a reasonable enough price/enjoyment ratio for me. its a good game to play for an our or to after work and just semi mindlessly shoot shit.
Gabriel Kelly
Hope steamcancer will die already.
Sebastian Ward
Hey what happened with Metro? When is it released? I've honestly completely forgot about it since all the EPIC threads. No interest in playing, but everyone kind of got quiet about it.
Alexander Williams
Adhd
Elijah Diaz
i think it´s a boring game with extremely shitty voice acting (but that´s just me) it got cracked quite fast so no need for epic if you want to play it.
Luis James
>console pre-orders
Jacob Thomas
>division
do people not learn from their previous purchases? wasn't there massive backlash in the last game?
the most important question however:
will they do the "one player can talk to the npc at a time" thing again? only outstanding thing from the first game.
Gabriel Brown
>More pre-orders than the original
So they have 4 or 5 this time around?
Henry Thompson
Parker Martin
Sure, the game with zero preorderes just happen to be Ubisofts fastest selling game at the time.
Angel Brown
>PC sales
>matter
Leo Torres
*more uplay preorders
Oliver Torres
what are you on about
Zachary Wilson
Is there a general for the division or do threads get posted here? I don't have any friends to play with and I'd rather not play with pugs.
Levi Fisher
one that sparks joy
Jonathan Williams
get triggered you brain fucked autist
Henry Wilson
You're the one who sounds triggered
Angel Roberts
You want to use uPlay?
Jordan Hughes
Wasn't that "journo" a retard?
AFAIK Ubisoft said the game sold 5x (or however much) more on Uplay.
That literally means NOTHING. Especially when the game isn't on Steam, it just means players have to chose between 2 other shit launchers/stores, this Uplay sells more than Division1's Uplay version.
Doesn't mean the game is selling more on all versions combined.
Jose King
imagine being ubisoft and someone not only PAYS you for "exclusivity" to take the game away from steam but people don't even go to the "exclusive" platform, but instead to your own store. you can't make this shit up.
Blake Sullivan
You're just proving the point of not needing Steam anymore to be successful: Thanks
Andrew Watson
its uplay or the highway
Jaxson Wood
You have to be baiting, it means that the preorders on uplay are 6x higher when compared with the previous game's uplay preorders, it says nothing about how the number of sales on the entire pc platform.
Dominic Lopez
uPlay is better than the Epic Games launcher though.
Josiah Gutierrez
uPlay doesn't have user reviews
Benjamin Foster
if ubi thought that they would left steam totally which they didn't. for ubi all of thier games require uplay regardless so they win in any situation, even moreso in this one since people would rather go straight to uplay instead making the "exclusivity" worthless. and why is division 2 the only ubi game on epic? where's the rest?
Brayden Baker
>and why is division 2 the only ubi game on epic? where's the rest?
It's getting more with Div 2 preorder program
Elijah Lee
Why did you quote my post? I said Division2 sold more than Division on Uplay, NOT overall.
Bentley King
>sequel to a popular game
> sells more
I'm sure it had nothing to do with not being on steam.
People don't care that much what service the game is in. The platform is the pc, not the service.
Ethan Cox
Hello Gabe
Camden Richardson
Fuck steam and fuck gabe newell
Anthony Murphy
Fake fucking news. Coincidencetly for the second time they have more pre orders? Sounds like a lie.
Jacob Gray
>B-b-but Steam and GabeN made PC gaming a thing
Isaiah Peterson
I thought my fellow Guild Wars bros were patricians not mouth-breathing cum-guzzling retarded faggots who eat bioware shit.
Samuel Anderson
BASED
Bentley Perez
I preferred the Division 1's aesthetic, the whole snowy atmosphere was kino. now it's just generic action shooter # 18869. also tried the beta and the fucking bullet sponges are still there
Samuel Torres
Carter Kelly
no
Caleb Taylor
>Steam... Evil... Epic... Competition...
Alexander Ross
>having to pick between cancer and brain tumor
Pee Sea gayming is truly pathetic.
Kayden Scott
This is a fake news.
Matthew King
>Imagine having competition that incompetent.
You do remember that Ubi released the first Division and thought there was nothing wrong with it, right?
Isaiah Campbell
Nothing to do with the fact that 95% of pre orders are on console
Xavier Roberts
Lol Yea Forums is so delusional thinking people have loyalty to a launcher. Pure boomer cringe
Adam Hernandez
YEAH BECAUSE ANYBODY WITH A FUCKING BRAIN BUYS UBISOFT GAMES THROUGH UPLAY.
THE EPIC STORE'S ARRIVAL IS IRRELEVANT, IF YOU BOUGHT UBISOFT GAMES FROM THIRD PARTY STORES YOU ARE A FUCKING IDIOT. YOU NOW HAVE TWO LAYERS OF DRM INSTEAD OF ONE, BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO USE UPLAY REGARDLESS.
Charles Powell
He's hysterical but right.
Landon Wood
Have you been living under a rock? How the fuck did you miss the whole Metro business?
Bentley White
would have* you mong
Julian Sanders
Last I checked the reaction against EGS was universal, saying it's "Yea Forums spamming" is retarded, even if you are baiting. Do the world a favor and kill yourself.
Jonathan Lee
>no steam more sale
fucking zoomers
Isaiah Barnes
>ANYBODY WITH A FUCKING BRAIN
>BUYS UBISOFT
Charles Sanders
normal people dont give a fuck what DRM client they use, who woulda thunk it
