Yes. Just do what they did with Devil May Cry and go back to the original formula with the original game director and a non-western team. The DR sequels were shitty for the same reasons that the DMC reboot was so hated. There's no reason Dead Rising couldn't be revived by returning to its roots entirely

DmC was an attempt at rebooting the series. if it was successful, the series would've gone western developed only like dead rising. it was not in earnest an attempt to make a spin-off series that didn't replace the original.

just put DR1 in the RE engine. Hell TJ Rotolo the voice of Frank in DR1-3 did the mocap for Frank in at least DR1 and 2 and Capcom face got Rotolo to voice, face scan and mocap for all of Birkin's movements and as G too for RE2 Remake.
