This. I know people keep saying that they want Darkstalkers to look like Xrd and DBFZ, but it really does need to keep the Capcom-ness in the anatomy and such rather than just being a carbon copy of the Arcsys style. Something that took the general Arcsys approach to animation while retaining the Capcom art style (and maybe smoothing the frame rate a bit) would be good.
