Mega Man 2 first, it has a babby mode so you can probably still clear it. Then continue through the series from there and hop back to MM1 whenever you feel your asshole is lubed up enough. At some point in time you HAVE to pick up Mega Man X, though the sequels are optional.

reason i ask is because i walked into the series expecting its movement and gravity to be like mario's, and its weapons to be like kirby's abilities or contra's guns; all in all a playful romp of destruction

I don't know if it's because of the art style being top-tier overall but MM8 sprite is my favorite, too bad it made people think more graphics=slower mega man because I have always liked that sprite along with 7 since they are like expressive and shit and the one in 8 looks all fluid.

Legends is wonderful. Simplistic models yet memorable as fuck.

All Mega Man designs are pretty good (except for Wily War's sprite), but with Classic and X I prefer the taller, thicker boot proportions.

His design in legends is ok but Roll Casket is top tier.
