I used to play a bunch of chimera hunt on this but the servers for it are always dead now. Did the community move somewhere else or is mother 3 just not cool anymore?

It's only good for harassing other players. Not gonna lie, some of the best memories I've had with my friends.

The only Chimera Hunt that was really popular was the one on GMod Tower, and that got shut down ages ago.
Except for the revival that got shut down last month as well.

Blame MacDGuy. He's the one always threatening to C&D people who start revival servers, since he owns the copyright on all the original assets used on the original server. He apparently shuts down these private GMT servers because they could take away potential players for Tower Unite, but I'll never buy it while Mac keeps on being a dickwad like that.

It wasn't as good as the original server, since it was never full and only 3 people had really fleshed out suites. Still, being able to play Ball Race, Virus, and UCH after so many years was so fun. They even added in the Gourmet Race mode that never got finished on the original server.

Most of the time I joined, there were only 10 people at a time. But even when there were 30, the max that the original server could hold was 100, and there were 2 of them.

with 30 it is still fun tho

Yeah, it was still pretty fun. It just felt emptier, but what do you expect from a private server. I'm just glad I had fun with it while it lasted.

what happened to this game bros? Every single fun gamemode/server is either dead or shut down. I actually uninstalled for the first time in like 7 years last month.
