There are plenty of good things about spider-man 2 beyond the swinging. and while insomniac's spider-man is a great game, spider-man 2 is the closest we have gotten to actually feeling like spider-man.

This game was great except for the segments as MJ or actually every single moment and interaction with MJ. Why did the writers make her a whiny, irrational bitch? I CAN DO EVERYTHING YOU CAN DO BECAUSE I HAVE JOURNALISM POWERS. The part where she said shed be better at sneaking into Norman's penthouse, I actually yelled OH COME ON at my screen. We spent half the game breaking into and sneaking into heavily guarded places, plus all the stealth side missions and somehow MJ is better suited for this?

It's okay. Neversoft Spiderman, Ultimate Spiderman and Shattered Dimensions are way better. Insomniac Spidey has way too many QTEs, too many scripted scenes (I fucking hated every time I had to go to the shelter), shitty stealth sequences bad combat.

Spider man 2 was my favorite and WOB was right behind it. But after i played the new one it will went to the top. Yes there tons of same side content but it was the same almost for every spider man game. Aslo i think swing mechanic is the best one to date though i prefer if it would be a little faster like in WOB.
