This happened to me once actually about ten years ago.
It was 2AM in the middle of the night, and I just suddenly woke up out ofnowhere to see my huge ass Trinitron slowly lean forward before it completely went down, the stand it was on buckled and broke, and the TV went crashing down forward onto the floor next to my bed and rolled to the other side of the room.
To this day I have no idea what did it. My cat was ontop of my top bunk, so I'd assume he hopped it as a stepping stone, but even then I don't think that was enough to move that fucking behemoth.

Probably just the sheer weight of the TV eventually denting the stand enough for the front heavy glass to make it tilt. If you ever go to thrift stores and look at TV stands they almost always have that curved bend from a CRT sitting on it.

I just recently got a CM-14DNA model. The colors are super rich, and the sound is great for only being mono. It has mild burn in from whatever it was used for previously, but it's not very noticable when playing games. Any tips to get rid of it or is it that way forever?
