Wind Waker Ganon is cooler

How so

BOTW Ganon sucked

OoT Ganondorf is best final boss.

It would have been good without the pointless ring around them.

all 4 stages of the TP Ganondorf fight are kino.

Eh I just don't like how he's too easy in his gerudo form. Phantom ganon should have been the first form.

Attached: Phantom_Ganon_(Ocarina_of_Time).png (966x948, 871K)

Agreed. Wish he was an actual character in the game instead of a big stupid spider. Would've loved to have some of the memories include him interacting and working to betray the entire kingdom.

zelda final boss fights usually have good presentation, botw was a big letdown in that sense

absolutely loved how he died on his feet. never quite seen anything like that in any other media

What... no... that picture is not what ganon looks like in OoT. First form, he's a humanoid with no horse present, floating around and shooting energy at you. Second form, he is a giant with goat legs and two large "knives" (can't remember the special word for them). I wonder if you even played OoT.

You know this is a good point. Is there any other character who's just fucking died standing like that? I always thought that was boss as hell but it kind of slipped my mind.

I think you misunderstood that user's post.

tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/DiedStandingUp

Attached: whitebeards_death_in_the_anime.png (692x854, 586K)

did you even read that guy's second sentence

felt like it dragged on too long, the Puppet Zelda and horseback segments weren't really necessary

OOT still has the definitive 3D Zelda final boss even if it's easy

Attached: ganon___zelda__ocarina_of_time_by_gokammy.jpg (600x600, 200K)

Based TVtropes.

BotW would be a contender for "best Zelda final boss" if it weren't for that terrible, terrible pig phase.
I'm really not sure what they were thinking. It's so mismatched with the rest of the game as well. Even just having you chase him across Hyrule shooting him, like the dragon "fight", would've been so much better than riding around in circles shooting at giant glowing weakpoints for massive damage.

All BotW needed was Ganondorf.

SS final boss was pretty fantastic too.

reminder that we could've had this

Attached: img-9428-1488404689219_1280w.jpg (1280x960, 183K)

The game never let go off your hand even till the end.

Looks gay

Oh, nevermind. I thought you implied "Phantom ganon" was his second form. But the image he presented is mislabeled. I don't recall Ganon wearing that mask in the boss fights. Did he wear it when young Link first met him? Don't remember.

Oot was still the best with beast ganon with two swords in the ruins of hyrule castle. This felt anti-climatic in the middle of a grassy field. But the horseback stuff with zelda was cool.

Calamity Ganon was fine as a final boss. It just needed that extra phase. As said it could have even been a bit gimmicky, but what they did was just lame. Ganon doesn't react to you at all or move it just stands there while you shoot arrows at it.

>Overpowering Ganondorf with raw strength and pure courage
absolute kino

*blocks your path*

>Reading Comprehension: 0%

Did... did you read what he said at all?

>After weeks of renting the game over and over again, I'm finally at Ganondorf
>It's a tough fight, but I manage to get him
>Tower starts coming down
>Blood pressure and hype is so high that my nose explodes with blood
>After almost an hour, my parents are like "alright, maybe...something else is really wrong here"
>Drive me to the emergency room
>Woman at desk just sees this poor 8 year old kid soaked in blood
>Had white Spiderman pjs, now they're red with blood
>She freaks out and I skip the line
>Doctor comes in
>Asks my parents about a history of health problems etc
>Grabs an ice pack and holds it to my nose
>"What were you doing when this happened, user?"
>"I was fighting Ganondorf and I won and we had to escape an-"
>Every thing I speak sends more and more fine red mist all over the poor doctor's face
>After a while it finally stops
>Go home, parents are a little embarrassed
>Start playing the game again
>Ganon fight

Attached: Ganon OoT.jpg (800x440, 179K)

That fight was shit and even easier than TP dorf

his image is appropriately labeled it's phantom ganon from the forest temple, it's not a mask it's just his face because it's not actually ganondorf

... and good music.
... and a good sidekick.
... and better and more dungeon instead of those awful boring shrines

Wind waker fans are so unbelievably delusional

It's...it's labelled just fine. It's Phantom Ganon from Forest Temple.

Wind waker ganon is absolute kino, the one redeeming factor about that game

stupidly easy two phase fight

upvoted

He's so fucking easy tho. Just toss lighting to win.

>literally just beat botw half an hour ago (only got a switch a week ago)
>went in almost completely blind
>did all the memories, got the master sword did all the beasts
>stupid flying robot flailing arm flailing tubemen ganons are the only bosses
>each one is just a shitty gimmick you can beat by spamming master sword projectile and standing still and guarding
>really excited to see how ganon looks in this game
>he's (it's?) just a stupid amalgamation of all the flailing arm flailing tubemen
>literally just does the same moves the 'blight' versions did with almost nothing new
>no challenge at all from having overpowered spirits
>turns from a robot into a huge pig (which looks dope as fuck) but is even easier
>game just ends with zelda hyping you up with the promise of getting to explore the world with her
>instead of getting a small post game with zelda wandering around random hubs/world areas you get nothing
>game just reverts back to your last save, no purified hyrule no extra shit
>see this picture
What the fuck? That would have been so much better.
What a massive let down after an otherwise fun game (except the fucking shitty grind for the ms)

Attached: rrr.gif (500x335, 499K)

Should've been spider phase followed by human phase

>even egoraptor was able to beat him without the hylian shield

Attached: 1550645480331.png (416x378, 284K)

> Go against colossal pig
> Get sumo’d by Midna

A long-winded fight, but amazing all the same.

He was a disappointment

Fantastic boss theme though
youtube.com/watch?v=gaaLWh-5Esc

I haven't played through this game in maybe 20 years and I suppose it shows.

Attached: 1532466854672.gif (200x200, 1.79M)

Sorry, maybe it feels different when you actually play it versus watching it on YouTube. I dropped the game because it was so bad. I've completed every other zelda game though.

Debating the best boss in any Zelda game is like debating what the worst boss in any Souls or any other proper action game not made for children, how mentally underdeveloped do you have to be to want to talk about it? Is everyone here under the age of 18?

Pathetic.

Attached: windwaker_link_a_k_a_toon_link_by_chibi_soujiro.jpg (600x800, 167K)

too fucking easy, the music and cutscenes are boss though

This art style was so dope, I wish they would use it again. TP was supposed to be inspired by this style but it doesn't live up to it.

Worst anticlimax I've ever had. I literally did not lose a single heart. If I ever replay it, I'm sure as hell not equipping that damn rupee suit again.

>Phantom ganon should have been the first form

Agreed. That was easily the best boss fight in the game, and hence a better 'Ganondorf' fight than the actual final battle.

This fight is way more fun if you ignore the lightning.

y u such a bitch?

I wonder if you even played OoT

That’s my favourite too.

god what a eyesore
if you're gonna complain, don't make it wordy so I can easily dismiss your crybaby post

This. Best part of BotW was the soundtrack. Zant's boss music > all, though. Shame he got shafted by Ganondorf as the final boss.

Attached: bant.png (237x242, 74K)

Not only is he the best in Zelda, he's the best final boss in any video game.

I thought the king was Ganondorf before the reveal. That only made me realise how much cooler a bro(?) Ganondorf who's seen all the Links and who just wants to end the cycle would have been.

Naw it’s cool because it means you can’t leave and you take damage if you hit it.

It's actually the worst final boss of the pre botw 3d zeldas

boy you really jumped the gun a bit
you read the first sentence and erupted in autistic excitement to chime in with a correction about a game literally fucking everybody has played

>It's actually the best final boss of the pre botw 3d zeldas
ftfy ss was the worst

What's next for Zelda?

free roaming. Literally just free roaming.

Stop being an apologist. It was pretty coherent post unlike your illiterate fucking complaints.

I hope you like Ubisoft and Skyrim user...

bongo bongo was cool, not hard, but a cool concept

Just running around searching for poo?

I love Ganon in general, but for some reason, he's usually one of the easier bosses in any Zelda game.

It's bizarre how easy it is to kill him in pretty much everything.

Attached: Ganon_SSBU.png (528x445, 323K)

Nope they will make the next have a gimmick with free roam. Hopefully not a time constraint gimmick like MM. MMs story, music and atmosphere are top notch but I can’t get behind time constraints as a gameplay mechanic.

Wait, you didn't do any of the beasts until you got the Master Sword? Why would you ruin your own playthrough like that?
>hurr hurr muh REAL zelda

>soundtrack
BotW had one, I didn't even notice.

gottem

>bongo bongo was cool

He would be much more difficult if you were prevented from using normal arrows to fight him, and is definitely the next best designed boss.

It’s to affirm the players belief that they are the one chosen by the triforce of courage and with the master sword held firmly in links left hand.

>MMs story, music and atmosphere are top notch
MM had Koizumi to help in those apartments, BotW had Aonuma and Fujibayashi. Expecting MM tier music, story and atmosphere from them is hopeless.

As a character, sure it’s totally arguable.

As a final fight? gtfolol no way.

Correct. BotW was a really good shot at open world... but I’d be a liar to say it didn’t have huge flaws (like a shitty final showdown).

Can someone explain to me the fucking Zant mini-flashback before Ganondorf finally kicks the bucket. To This day I still can't wrap my head around that scene

Attached: 1520539492783.png (426x283, 105K)

>criticizes user for his playstyle, literally exposing the inherent flaws botw has
>makes fun of anons criticizing the very real issues with botw
boy you a dumb dumb

hopefully an actual return to form with non-linear dungeon choices but with actual progression/an overarching story like the NES/SNES games

Attached: legendofzelda_final2_by_deimos_remus-d8bdu9x.jpg (2250x1200, 1.98M)

>seething because of my comment earlier
It'll be okay...

The last bit of power Ganondorf had before dying was from Zant, he only dies for good after Zant snaps his own neck

The concept of "see that mountain, you can climb it" has nothing to do with the dumb decision to do 36 shrines and make your way to the centre of the map before deciding to do any of the main quest.

BotW's music was mostly ambient background music, suited the overall theme and feel of the game but were pretty nondescript
had some great tracks mixed in though
youtube.com/watch?v=R4ZkklcIfTo
youtube.com/watch?v=MgK_OfW7nl4
youtube.com/watch?v=rR7bCi9Hqrg

but midna exploded zant way before that

Zant finishes off Ganondorf from beyond the grave after realizing that he was used.

Thinking holistically, Twilight Princess or Skyward Sword?

ghost

I think Aunoma explained it once but it was something dumb because I already forgot what he said about it

TP

It was overly linear and was slow to start, but SS had far more flaws, especially when it came to recycling content to pad out the game
and a far worse companion.

Twilight Princess, it didn't fuck the series over with timeline bullshit or shit on Minish Cap.

TP and its not even close.

SS is a blight on the series, so TP.

It's far too easy; Twilight Princess coddles the heck out of the players from beginning to end. Even The Wind Waker's final battle had a faster pace and a greater amount of damage dealt per hit.

This was still pretty neat though

Attached: ganonheadstab.gif (888x459, 3.95M)

>Even The Wind Waker's final battle had a faster pace and a greater amount of damage dealt per hit.
Now That was game that coddles the player. It's the final boss fight and yet they still give hold your hand.

Ganon is just a nickname; it only became the name primarily used for his pig form after he first did that transformation. Even in OoT the place Ganondorf lives at is called Ganon's Tower.

Wrong, the autistic contrarians obsessed with crying about a game they've never played is far worse

Majora will always be one of my favorite boss battles with how insane the whole thing felt. I love how even though the timer has stopped everything still shakes to remind you that the planet is still on the brink of destruction. I love the way the first phase feels all slow pace but very imposing, then once you've dug deep it all goes completely nonsensical and insane with majora's incarnate, then ending off with Wrath where the music really cranks up. Even though twilight princess and majora have the easier final bosses they easily have some of the best presentation in the entire series

Attached: Majoras mas.jpg (1280x720, 116K)

How? If you're talking about the parry prompts, that's a basic mechanic in the game.

Zelda telling you how to kill Ganondorf.

You talking about the whole, Bounce the light arrows off links shield in order to hit him?

I thought that was pretty cool

I was so much hoping for that. I went in fully expecting damn, Demise fucked up and split from Ganondorf and now the human is trying to help Link.
And then it's just another fucking King again.

It was pretty cool but it would've been better to figure it out on your own while Ganon is coming at you.

>Completing the Divine Beasts REMOVES phases from the fight

What were they thinking?

Ganondorf's death scene is one of the most kino things ever. BTFOs the scene where Ganondorf says that he covets the Hyrulian wind, easily

she doesn't directly tell you, she's like "we need to surprise him, i'll aim for you... get it?" it would be stupid to have her suddenly start shooting you with no explanation

Are there any neighboring kingdoms to hyrule? They must have hyrule as a fucking quarantine zone based on all the shit that goes on there.

Holodrum, Labrynna, various islands from Zelda 2

Despite him being easy, I fucking love the spectacle of this fight.
>mfw Link going for the final blow and lightning strikes the Master Blade right before he strikes his chest
absolutely kino

fuck off.

Attached: hqdefault.jpg (480x360, 18K)

nah too wordy try again baby
a goo goo gaa gaa waa waa pooo pooo pee pee to you my fellow baby

Middle school me never saw that shit coming. It blew me away that he literally stabbed Ganon in the head

>Literally just a giant mask that floats around

Attached: 2hlf6gawj6c01.jpg (399x400, 47K)

>ruins your final boss

Attached: Dietyoffierce.png (900x900, 495K)

i am not fan of Twilight Princess in general but one thing that they did excellent is the whole Final Boss' Phases.

Attached: nice.jpg (557x605, 55K)

only Labrynna and Holodrum and even then they never get acknowledged due to being Capcom creations

the Zelda 2 island was part of Hyrule

That wouldn't be very intuitive, considering that nothing else in the game really bounces off of the Mirror Shield like that. The Light Arrow is pretty solid too despite the name.

it's gonna sound retarded, but botw is more about the journey than the destination
that said, i wish they'd done more if you'd completed the divine beasts instead of making the fight with calamity ganon pathetically easy

>Dark Link
>WW Ganondorf
>Malladus
>Demise
Nah.

All those but Dark Link suck.

I AM MORE THAN JUST A MASK BOY

The background screams late 1990/early 2000s and I love it.

>flooding at the top of a tower, stabbing straight into his head
>Link/Zelda duet
>reflectant sky/water, sword charged by a literal lightning strike
You just have shit taste.

SS sucked dick, WW was far too easy and ST was... okay.

youtube.com/watch?v=qpTE9T0i1vg

underwhelming

this, the whole finale is perfect

>first phase was pretty decent even after doing the divine beasts
>second phase he turns into Ganon
>oh shit here we go.jpg
>he stands in an open field shooting a laser in the same direction waiting for you to arrow him to death
I've never had my hype killed so fast

Attached: depressed balloon plays basketball.jpg (380x288, 15K)

Anyone with a brain knew he was going to be Daphnes II.

Attached: daphnes.png (572x295, 234K)

>Daphnes II
I thought it was actually him and it was going to be a sequel to WW between this and the rock salt description.
Needless to say, I was fucking disappointed.

We don't need a Daphnes II
What we need is a King Harkinian II

Fuck Ganondorf. I hope he never returns.

I still think it's in the adult timeline anyway. The Zora's tablets mention Ruto becoming a sage and helping the Hero of Time which only happens in the adult timeline. There are fish in other parts of the ocean in PH and ST which means some of the Zora could've migrated away from the Great Sea and created a split evolution. Then there's the Korok working on draining the ocean in WW and now there's 900 of them everywhere thanks to them. Of course they already decided that they'll never say where BotW is on the timeline so who knows.

Attached: conspiracy.jpg (1024x768, 137K)

I fucking hate this meme. Breath of the Wild's soundtrack was fucking great. Just because it didn't have an overworld theme blaring 24/7 doesn't mean it was bad.

youtube.com/watch?v=nM6QFCx06jA
This is one of if not the best dungeon themes in the entire series.

This could have easily been a Dark Souls Gwyn kind of fight. No dialogue. The moment you get to the top, he just attacks.

Fuck you, Zelda

You could say that, but Zant did get the last laugh in the end.

Attached: 1496836956321.gif (420x315, 1.52M)

>the Korok working on draining the ocean in WW
I thought they were trying to make a mainland of tree roots on top of everything, having them suck up all the water sounds even more absurd.
Even if it actually is, they abandoned WW completely with it and exploring the land was nothing like how I imagined exploring underwater Hyrule.

Why aren't more autist fans upset that they rewrote the entire legend of the series with this retard?

Its up there with the OoT Ganondorf, but TP edges it out for me because of its four phases.

Attached: 1483384821756.jpg (1500x1517, 320K)

This is the best boss in general

Attached: 4E1A7292-EBF2-4F5C-AC0F-238778C4488D.png (320x240, 86K)

because nobody cares that much for the zelda lore except the hardcore zelda autists like yourself.

>they were trying to make a mainland of tree roots on top of everything, having them suck up all the water sounds even more absurd.
It's cute tho. Seeing all those little guys trying to do the impossible.

Zelda lore stopped mattering after Wind Waker

god, OoT ganondorf is probably the best designed dorf out of all of them.

I interpreted it as draining the sea because of what the Deku Tree said about making islands bigger and them being connected with "earth."
>exploring the land was nothing like how I imagined exploring underwater Hyrule.
It gave me a lot of the same feelings because of all the open space and the crumbling ruins that were in the undersea Hyrule.

The time to be upset was 8 years ago when SS came out. Everyone was mad that Demise exists to answer a question no one asked ("why is Ganondorf evil?) and robs Ganondorf of his own free will as a result. Now everyone just kind of deals with it because we're stuck with it.

BotW is at the end of every timeline, according to the official website.

>dude Ganondorf's not really evil his spirit just like gets possessed every time it's reincarnated
Holy shit this is fucking retarded

If you dropped it why are you arguing about the final boss?

BotW isn't even on the official site's timeline.

to be fair SS also had
>dude Link's not really courageous his spirit used to belong to an ancient hero so he's always going to be the good guy and win
>dude Zelda's not really wise her spirit belonged to a literal demigod so she'll always have powerful magic that can BTFO evil every time
it's all dumb cyclical shit now

Oops.

>TP has a literal flashback to Ganondorf's execution in OoT and the ghost of the Hero of Time is a major side character
>FSA references the Gerudo being kicked out of Hyrule after Ganondorf's execution
>PH and ST are both direct sequels to WW and have the same characters
What did they mean by this?
If anything I'd say it stopped mattering after SS

Which I really hated t b h. I hope they go back to music like this for the next one.
youtube.com/watch?v=ufmBdmT4eR0

Not only that but it also shits on Minish Cap by it being the REAL story of how Link got his tunic and hat.

They should just do another timeline starting with BotW, maybe try and keep some semblance of continuity this time around.

>what the Deku Tree said about making islands bigger and them being connected with "earth."
That actually makes a lot more sense when you put it that way.
>It gave me a lot of the same feelings because of all the open space and the crumbling ruins that were in the undersea Hyrule.
It was missing the wonder of finding new environments and things there, like being thrust into an unfamiliar place with interesting people and events. The whole game just has a few mini biomes of the same stuff repeated again and again.

>Hero's Shade being OOT Link was a fan theory retconned in by Hyrule Historia years later
>FSA also features a completely different Ganondorf than OOT/TP/WW
SS may have introduced a bunch of terrible elements to the lore but WW still started the timeline bullshit by being a sequel to OOT when it already had ALTTP

>they will never go through the effort put in to make the OoT/MM soundtracks again in favor of live orchestras
It hurts.

>>Hero's Shade being OOT Link was a fan theory retconned in by Hyrule Historia years later
I never got the reason why so many people get upset over this one. I like it because it shows that being a hero isn't all it cracks up to be.

>Wind Waker Ganondorf does more damage than every form of TP Ganondorf
hahahaha

Breaks my fucking heart. Not him but here's my personal favorite. It makes me emotional just hearing it knowing the impending doom that is coming.
youtube.com/watch?v=fdD7_L2VSxI

Attached: yuga-ganon-1.png (679x401, 326K)

>It was missing the wonder of finding new environments and things there, like being thrust into an unfamiliar place with interesting people and events. The whole game just has a few mini biomes of the same stuff repeated again and again.
I honestly got that experience from BotW because most of the world has been unexplored for 100 years, with all civilization hiding in their various settlements. A lot of places are abandoned and deserted and felt like I was discovering them myself. Then when you do find a town it's pretty neato.

>>Hero's Shade being OOT Link was a fan theory retconned in by Hyrule Historia years later
>says his techniques don't leave his bloodline
>literally calls you "son"
>has a wolf form like you
>knows all the songs from OoT and MM
>is fucking left handed
I can understand not liking it but all the pieces were there without them explicitly screaming it at you.

>>FSA also features a completely different Ganondorf than OOT/TP/WW
That's because he was killed in TP but reincarnated. Every other character reincarnates, so why can't Ganondorf?

>SS may have introduced a bunch of terrible elements to the lore but WW still started the timeline bullshit by being a sequel to OOT when it already had ALTTP
They wrote themselves into a corner after OoT stopped being a ALTTP prequel. If Ganondorf is defeated how can the Imprisoning War in ALTTP happen? That's why the timeline needed to happen.

Agreed! Is a cool fight

ALttP Pig Ganondorf >>>>>>> All

>If Ganondorf is defeated how can the Imprisoning War in ALTTP happen?
what if I told you ALTTP happens in the child portion of Ocarina

>most of the world has been unexplored for 100 years, with all civilization hiding in their various settlements. A lot of places are abandoned and deserted and felt like I was discovering them myself.
Being abandoned and left in that state ruined it for me because they had very little lore significance if any and just served as arenas for monster fights. I can see where you're coming from though.
>Then when you do find a town it's pretty neato.
There were way too few of them for a world that big and they put no effort into the npcs at all. It just felt like they were there because they had to be.

Literally impossible because Link has the Triforce of Courage and Sheik is in hiding with the Triforce of Wisdom.
Even if he found Sheik he would never have the full Triforce to lead to the Imprisoning War while Link is kept in the Chamber of Sages for 7 years. That's why you pop out and you still have a chance at beating him.

not during Ocarina of Time retard, I mean at the end of the game when Link is a child and not the adult part of the timeline

It’s on the Japanese one.

>Being abandoned and left in that state ruined it for me because they had very little lore significance if any and just served as arenas for monster fights. I can see where you're coming from though.
I agree that there could've been more lore for a lot of the areas, but there is some worldbuilding to each area that I appreciated. For example, the area on the Great Plateau with the Temple of Time is strongly implied to be Castle Town from OoT with the Eastern Abbey being old Hyrule Castle. The layouts even line up:
youtube.com/watch?v=bJg4D26QrEU

Then there's the spot where Link died where you can see a trail of destroyed Guardians that were left in his wake until he fell. Finding Zelda's diary in Hyrule Castle was also great.

>There were way too few of them for a world that big and they put no effort into the npcs at all. It just felt like they were there because they had to be.
There was some, NPCs in Tarrey town had the most development and interaction which is why everyone remembers that so fondly. I also enjoyed encountering the Gut Check Gorons wherever they went. There could've been more interactions like this though, definitely.

Forgot Link nintendo.co.jp/character/zelda/history/index.html
But Nintendo seems to have ditched separate timelines with Botw

correct
as a character, yes, but his final fight is whatever outside of the memorable finisher

What would you have done? I keep thinking about this cause I also find it crap without the extra phases, but then you’d remove what makes the divine beasts important to the story.

The whole ending made me cum gallons. The execution of the whole final dungeon was perfect.

fuck no. You cant even fucking hit him unless zelda stuns him or you get the QTE prompt

I thought fighting Monk Maz Koshia was pretty baller

Attached: B6F14907-8ED5-4E1E-BC46-7A2A7FC7C4FD.png (300x169, 55K)

You mean after Zelda sends him back? How does that make sense? Link gets sent back and then doesn't use that opportunity to stop Ganondorf? He keeps the Triforce of Courage when he's sent back so that still doesn't make sense.

This isn't saying they ditched separate timelines, there's a line break before BotW showing that it's not placed in the timeline. Which is what we already knew. All they've said about BotW is that it's after OoT and at an indeterminate "end" of the timeline 10,000 years into the future. Aonuma came out and said they'll never officially reveal where it is because they like having people speculate.
gamerevolution.com/news/460693-breath-of-the-wild-timeline-placement-eiji-aonuma

I really liked the final dungeon of Link Between Worlds, going up the tower and the music getting instruments added as you go up each floor

WW Ganon is a fart fetishist.

Attached: hqdefault (1).jpg (480x360, 18K)

I bought it like 4 years ago and I have yet to touch it. I don't know why, fucking backlog just doesn't let me start it.

>the area on the Great Plateau with the Temple of Time is strongly implied to be Castle Town from OoT with the Eastern Abbey being old Hyrule Castle. The layouts even line up
That just pissed me off because of how inconsistent it is with how it takes stuff from different timelines and certain locations like the Lost Woods still don't add up. They could have done a lot more to make every area unique and full of secrets.
>NPCs in Tarrey town had the most development and interaction which is why everyone remembers that so fondly.
It all felt pretty weak, the characters aren't relatable or worth being cared about in the slightest. I was hoping for writing more along the lines of MM.

Ganondorf is only imprisoned after OOT's ending rather than sealed away in another realm like he is in the adult timeline, meaning he's still fully capable of getting to the Sacred Realm. Rauru's design was also wholly based on ALTTP's sages, and you could reasonably assume that there were other sages like Rauru that either died or were killed prior to when you visit each of the temples in Ocarina. You have to think about this without adding on additional games or plot points released after OOT itself

>Oh, I forget what that fight is like. Lemme just look up some footage.
>Slow as fuck
>Quick time event
>Ends in like 30 seconds.

You guys have shit taste.

>as a character
What character?

its a fucking tennis match

no

The QTE is optional. And the entire 4 phase fight lasts a pretty good while

>Play through the entire game with the monks just sitting there then disappearing
>Then this nigga just stands the fuck up
Kino.

Exactly 1 minute.

I said the entire 4 phase fight. The sword fight was short though I will admit

I feel like making everything you did in OoT be for nothing by having Ganondorf gets the whole Triforce anyway after Link gets ent back would be more frustrating of an explanation than just saying Link died while fighting Ganon so he got the completed Triforce then.

It requires less explanations than your theory, which know has to answer: How he broke out of jail, how he got the spiritual stones himself (especially when the entire country would know who he is and what he's capable of now and try to stop him), how he did this without the Triforce of Power (which is the real reason he had great magical power at all), and how he then got back into the Temple of Time which would be on lockdown at that point.

I'm not saying your theory isn't possible, I'm just saying it's stupider than just accepting that a game about time travel created different timelines.
